A man named Alen Japy created his own shoe brand in the form of D2C, and he made more than $1,000,000 in the second year!!! There is an excellent interview about how he started his shoe company. I forgot the article title, but you can google his name and you might be able to find it.
Good tips. Thank you. Your advice on looking on Google in another language to find a manufacturer makes sense, but I’d say that if the site isn’t in English, there’s a chance they may not speak English well…if at all. So probably stick to English speaking manufacturers
No problem! That is a very good point. However, I've personally used that method and found that alot of these manufacturers have at least one person in house that speaks English. I guess it just depends on the luck of the draw with that method 😂
I used a range of different terms including: Footwear manufacturers Shoe manufacturers Shoe factory Footwear factory I'd also add different countries to the end of some of those terms I.e. Footwear manufacturer in the UK etc.
