A word to the wise, if you're a beginner doing this, don't set the knife too tight. Otherwise, you'll just make a bunch of needles out of the twisted strands if you cut too deep. Picking them all up is no fun, trust me.
how much is the electicity consumption to strip this electrical wires? would it not be cheaper just to melt down the copper and dispose or recycle the plastic insulation/s surrounding it?
That's illegal in most states when u burn it poisonous gas form I have seen people heat up their knifes to were they don't struggle to cut copper especially big ones

My operation is very small so the few I get aren't worth anything to me.
That open pulley spinning where their are working inches away all days is so dangerous, you get your finger in that in one second your arm up to your arm pits break your arm off twisting it next your shirt get twisted pulling you body up to it and your face, look at the speed and motor has too much torque power. The thing is it's all day odds of working so close to it

Check local laws first. In Arizona they won't take stripped wires. Thieves stripped wires thus removing and markings
