Preah Neang Krop Leak Honestly, I think he was just stating according to his knowledge and what he think is right and making sense to him. Religiously, I think the lingas has to do with God Vishnu and other form of celestial beings. However, I gave him credits for the attempt. 🙂👍

I feel really sad that nowadays, Khmer people just forgot about the background for their own origins, beliefs and traditions. To me, the most important is for people to know that what they believe is true, might be completely wrong, as nowadays specialists around the world have started to denounce....
No, I respect his statements and opinions of course. It's how he interpreting the messages and what he thought of the holy objects. It is sad for the younger generation of how they forget their background and traditional value, and history etc. Yes, the world specialists are out their testing what was in the past and searching what make sense to them also. I don't think their hypothesis is always accurate or make sense either. They might make an assumption about certain things and could be proven wrong. After all, your video is interesting and it is something that enjoyed watching it.

He mention that EU came to Se-Asia around 1500 - 1600 and distorted Mon Khmer writing system to what we used today, they failed their colonization (instead India and Philippines was colonized) and came back within a couple 100s years later in 1800 "French colonialaztion". I look up trading history and discovered Netherland /Dutchman used to trade with Thai or Aayuthaya ( pretty accurate). Than he mention that the Tang Monk (Journey to the West which 96 is the best version lol) who ventured into Pakistan , India and back but before he went back to China he stopped by Kambujadeas/Cambodia which Chinese Historian also confirmed this.....

You should listen and read more from Prof. Keng Van Sak's work. At the time when the first foreigners came to our country, no Khmer knew about Shiva, Vishnu and Brama. At that time, nobody knew about the fourth Buddha neither...
If you study our inscriptions, there is no reference to these three gods. We were honoring only Preah Hisso, Preah Niriey, Preah Prum and Preah Neang Neak (third Buddha). You can check for yourself and stop being brainwashed.

It traced back all the way to northwestern India the tribe called kamboja they migrated to khmer empire before it was known as Funan. Funan was known to be hindu culture. This is tracing back to many many centuries.
Yes, I made research. There are many documents found through the Chinese, for which we do not know the proper spelling: "Funan", "Chenla". As in reality, no document or inscription has been found about our history before 6th century. There are only 2 inscriptions dated before 6th century, which are 100% in Paley language, unreadable as it was too damaged over the years... Noticed that even the most ancient documents found in India aren't in Paley 100% but 50% in Paley and 50% in Sanskrit.
There are also DNA test results which I follow and the written history of the Khmer was completely adapted by the first French anthropologists who arrived on our land and knew only about India's civilization. These anthropologists didn't report what the local Khmer were saying but their interpretation/adaptation of what they knew of India to our temples. Check for yourself! This is the reason why I say people have been brain washed.
I don't care if you want to take it personally and have no time nor reason to try to convince you. My function isn't to try to convince anybody. I am sharing my findings that people have been brain washed and dislike saying that us, Khmer are descendant of India. That is not true and the DNA confirms it! Our DNA is separate from Indian DNA. Our civilization is different from India. In my research, I have tons of leads bringing me to the contrary. Our civilization played a major role around the world and we don't even know about it...

This documentary is PROPAGANDA by these "special interest" group to CHANGE true history. But the history goes back 1000s of years and the meaning of these symbols ARE ESTABLISHED FACTS EVERYWHERE. His "re-educated propaganda"attempt is futile.
