- Odawara Castle, known as one of the famous castles of the Japan, is now maintained as "Castle Ruins Park" and various events are held every season.
During the rainy season, in 2023, the "Odawara Castle Hydrangea Iris Festival" is held from June 3rd (Sat) to 18th (Sun), and after sunset, the irises and hydrangeas are lit up.
Around the main venue, the iris garden, about 10,000 pots of irises and about 2,500 hydrangeas that volunteers have painstakingly cared for are in full bloom.
