They spend most of their time trying to juggle putting out stock, manning the registers, helping customers, answering the phone, and handling anything else that may come up during their shift.
I’m a merchandiser at a garden center and let me tell you, people like you who come through and set things back where they go without actually shuffling the displays are the backbone of this society lol. Thank you so much for these videos Mary!

I've thought about buying a bunch of soap so I can organize it at home, so I can make a video for those who don't like all of the extraneous "store" sounds in the background. After making the video, I could then donate all of the soap to a charity or shelter. I might just do that.

I appreciate these videos because I'm learning more about brands I'm not used to and I can say I will definitely be shopping at Dollar Tree and Dollar General more often when I move to the US this year - so thank you for the shelf organization videos Mary :) they are more useful knowledge than they are aesthetically pleasing organization
Emily Szilla I hope you enjoy it here! A lot of people give dollar stores a bad rap just because it’s cheap, and while they aren’t perfect they are definitely good products. Dollar Tree is all 1 dollar or less, dollar general is just cheap stuff sometimes over a dollar.

Jade Allan oh my goodness a certain brand here in America has a bunch of those flavors/scents and they smell and taste so good! Like they have strawberry lemonade and apple pie and Coca Cola (Ik they aren’t intended for like tasting but like they taste so good lol)
Hey Mary :) I just wanted to give you a suggestion it’s not anything to try to be mean I promise. These videos are amazing regardless. The organization ones have by far always been my fav. But when you’re organizing things with a nice little crinkle sound like those soaps make, it’s be even more tingly with less talking or maybe quieter talking. Those soaps make such a nice crinkle and he way they move in the box sounds nice too. Just a suggestion though.
I've been trying to talk more quietly lately. Perhaps you'd like the sound better if I handled some of the crinkly boxes in a less noisy area, like in my home? I'm totally up for it. The biggest problem is the ambient noise in the store, which I can't control.

You make a lot of very interesting side conversation and I get so into it and can’t really enjoy the sound of the bars because in my head I’m like “wait Mary has sensitive skin as a kid no way me too!?” lol! That’s what I’m trying to get at. And then I start thinking and can’t really relax.

I've checked various stores for this, but everywhere I've looked, the cosmetics/lipstick is either already organized, or the music in the store is way too loud. :(
