I just got one of this and wanted to put bigger tires on for off road use. Did you need an adapter for the proline wheels/tires? Most of the ones online are made for 4mm hubs and this has 2mm hubs. Thanks.

I am a total newbie to RC cars. The Rlaarlo AM-X12 is my first and so far my only car. The stock tires are OK but not great on the local outside track (mix of dirt, sand and maybe some clay). I love the look of the trenchers and the speed you got with them. Question, can the extra weight and larger size of the tires harm the motor (or any other part)? Did you change the stock set up after you put them on like camber and toe-out?
The larger size can be harmful because now the gear ratio has changed, which could make the electronics hotter or burn up. But I didn't change anything on this run but add droop screws.
Larger tires will heat the motor up faster. Just like a real car, the motor has to work harder to move the greater mass.

@ypsqueeze9632 it gets hot. If it was me picking between the two, Id get the Infraction. More options, easier to upgrade when ready, (if you are getting the mega) more parts availability.
Fastest I’ve gotten mine is 62 on a 3s, thankfully no major crashes yet! Sorry to see nice crash footage though. Lol
