Mine says CA and the numbers are first then down to the CA for the brown version of the zippy... is that normal that the date code is left to right?

Download the NFC Tools and it will scan for you. Now if it doesn’t scan then I’d be worried. I scanned 3 of my newest and yes ma’am it has microchips.

should along the seam, sometimes its hard to locate or see the date code u need to use a flash light :)

susan smith Hi there, Louis Vuitton items has date code, finding the date code can be tricky sometimes, usually it is along the seam you have to be careful because finding in the seam can end up destroying the thread because sometimes u have to open it up good to see the code or you use a flashlight 🔦, you’ll find it eventually and if u bought it in the store certainly its authentic and has code.
