Ηeavy Rain is the best game for ps3, one of the best games that ever exist and is not only a simple game, but a living experience that will keep it inside me for the rest of my life. An"interactive drama" like no other before. This is my personal view and opinion of course.
I know this day and age many don’t like to give David Cage any credit and that’s fair, but Quantic Dream honestly pushed the cinematic style and choice and consequences in games further than any game at that point attempted. Still adore Heavy Rain as one of my all-time favourite games.

***** Are you kidding me? Beyond Two Souls blew my freaking mind. I saw it as an improvement over Heavy Rain in just about every possible way, and that's saying a lot because Heavy Rain is one of my favorite games of all time.
What do you mean by "giving" the endings away? There isn't, to my knowledge, a "main" ending. And I don't recall which was in the middle. My only real complaints about the game come from the occasional difficulty with the fight sequences where you use the right stick, as well as the fact that I often found the brightness to be way too low. Other than that, I loved it. To each his own, but I thought the game was amazing.
OK... and how is this a bad thing? The game bombards you with choices and presents multiple different endings. How is this, in any way, a bad thing? Choices are good. Options are good. Ryan is hardly the "main one". And I don't see the deal about Aiden still being around. He was gone for a long time, and it's implied that they don't have the same connection as they did before.
***** Well, that's due to the fact that they're different types of game. Heavy Rain's formula was awesome, don't get me wrong. But it wasn't, in my opinion, "superior" to Beyond. Beyond progressively revealed to you Jodie's story and experiences, all of which are powerful and add to her character development. Then it lets you make the choice that feels right to the *player*. I found it to be just as rewarding (if not more so) than doing a bunch of setpiece actions in a cookie cutter fashion to get an "ideal" ending in Heavy Rain... Besides, some of the endings in Heavy Rain are "false" (in a sense), while others only change slight little cutscenes. They're not nearly as powerful as the ones in BTS. Even if I did go so far as to acknowledge the Heavy Rain formula as superior (which they're not), the other advantages Beyond has (better characters, better plot line, better action sequences, etc.) *still* make it overall a better game IMO.
'How far will you go to save someone you love" well from my first time playing this game Ethan went through alot. mostly got a electric burn, a few broken ribs from the car scene and almost decided to drink the poison but was able to find out the address to find Shaun and save him. Heavy Rain is more a movie than a game.
I hope Heavy Rain will be nominated for game of the year, NEVER a story has caught me so much... Incredible soundtrack, incredible characters.... and Ethan Mars story was the best of all , really he is THE MAN!!!!

Ethan Mars was a true hero. Many video game heroes are badasses who laugh in the face of death. Ethan was just an every man who is trying to rebuild his world after it was smashed into pieces. But when he sinks farther than rock bottom when Shaun gets kidnapped, he stops at nothing to complete the Origami Killer's trials and save him. Ethan, I salute you....

I caught this song being played in an episode of 'Narrows Escapes of World War II'. It was an episode talking about some British commandos sacrificing themselves to save others on the island of Crete near Greece from the invading Germans.

whatever u call it, it doesnt change the fact that the story is so beautiful, so touching, so emotional and thrilling. do u remember any game which brings such a story with it like that? the gameplay is simplified to that level of right and left, but if a story needs to be told, then i don't care about it.

Its sad that people like Roger Ebert and Steven Spielberg keep saying that no videogame will ever show the same emotion that a movie could. I dare them to play Heavy Rain and come out with the same opinion afterwards. I'm struggling to think of recent movies that even compare to Heavy Rain emotionally. I played this game from start to finish without stopping, it was incredible, and every single character had a story that was engrossing, and made me feel sorry for them (Even the killer!). Amazing

This is one of the best games Ive ever played, and I own a 360 too so Im not just being a PS3 fanboy. This game goes up there with MW2, Halo, ME2, and all the other videogame giants. I eagerly await more DLC
@helloivecoveredwars1 Don't forget: Ethan Mars can get electocuted in a power station and survive...multiple times. He can crawl through glass, jump from heights, flip with the car at high speeds, cut his fingers and live :))

First slow and it keeps speeding up to a great climax, this is an awesome song.
