Isaiah 42:16 - “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.”
I spread my grandfather's ashes out on the lake today and this was the first song that come on the radio. It took me back to really great memories of us fishing and having good times in the outdoors. Thank you guys so much for this song it brought tears to my eyes.
This song has touched my heart since the first time heard it! May 2022, my son bought me a ticket to go to Nashville, TNN to see him, and I did not realize, he also got me a ticket to see y’all. I met y’all when I was about 14/15 years old at Juniper Bay Baptist church. I guess y’all were about 12,13, 14 years old. Been following you guys ever since. I love your music, but also enjoyed your Mom’s testimony as well. I had some German gals get the hair done at my salon (for a long while), the Mother spoke no English, the 2 girls did. I heard the story also of how they suffered to get here. My son, was always interested in other cultures growing up, so he wrote an essay in High School about Ann Frank, then I showed him the movie of “Corrie ten Boom, he read lots of books about Hitler and the concentration camps. He then went to Russia his first year of college. Momma wasn’t to pleased with that, but I did go there to see the college and where and how he would be living. Much to my surprise the college tuition, books, dorm and meal ticket was cheaper than in America. He did not tell me who was going to be at the Grand Ole’ Oprey, but I was happy happy when I got there and learned y’all were there! Y’all are one of my favorite groups in gospel music. The Martins I also met at Grand Strand Baptist Church when they were very you, Love those guys too! I Love y’all, enjoy your music so deeply. I just wonder why? When I look the album/CD up online you two sisters did together, I can’t find it. Take Care, I Love You All, “from the depths of my heart!”🙏🙏❤️❤️🥰🎶🎶
I'm in transition right now and having a bit of a wilderness experience. This song has been really helpful. I know God is with me, it just helps to sing this to myself and keep the memory of his provision front and center.
Love the group the songs….wish they had more songs that connected them with the struggles of today’s youth. The Bill Gaither Baby Boomers ( self included) in 10 more years will not be the audience anymore. That group will be between ages 67-90. Those concerts seats will slowly become emptied.
