What about using FireWire? That will give you much better quality compared to using the majority of composite video capture cards. I might do a comparison video soon, but I don't have a composite video capture card to test it out right now.

The memory stick is primarily for still photo use of the camera. You could put short movies on it, as long as they are short.

@@RichardJPasini You should try getting a PCI FireWire card or a slightly older computer that has a FireWire port.
