For cords I use my elastic fabric hair ties .., many times I get colors u don't use ... these make excellent cords keepers

Don't separate the two pieces of velcro BEFORE adding to your device....peel the tape off one side add to device, then pull the tape off the back of the other side and press on wall/surface, that way you will always be in perfect alignment.

Good ideas but how many times do we need to see the same idea in one LONG video.

    • @Simphome

don't know how to answer that but I'll try something new next time.
77% chance I will fail but I'll try it anyway

Simple Home Art Decor Ideas this is NOT a long video!! People spend more than 13 mins watching Ads on TV everyday. Love your videos, please don't feel discouraged. Would love to see you redo your old ones, so many awesome ideas in them but I can't stand the robotic voice over.

Wendy Yang My comment was not meant to discourage, but to point out ( as others have done) that she needs to improve her editing. It's the repetition of content that became annoying, not the content itself. Leaving comments that are solely complimentary does nothing to inspire growth.

Good ideas. One thing I'm surprised you didn't say -
when you stick the one side of the Velcro to the object you want to hang, stick the second part of the Velcro to itself.
Then stick it to the wall or desk. This will make the two parts line up perfectly every time.

I love velcro but I don't necessarily think all of these are the best use. I find that if I want a rug or cushion seat to stay put, I use a non slip rug liner, which can easily be cut to size and removed to clean under. I use velcro for attaching security/parking remotes/buzzers in my car. They are easily removable and replaceable at will.
Also I prefer to stick the loop side to the wall and the fuzzy side to the removable device. Otherwise the device will pick up all sorts of fluff and start sticking to other fabrics.

nice. one thing i would not do is to use velcro on power adapter cause they often get hot, maybe its better to use magnets for them?

How easy/hard is it to remove the velcro from the surface (wall, table, etc...) if you no longer want it to be there anymore?

love the cup idea with waterproof velcro, we use magnets now and they are not dishwasher safe, we did the rug one a couple years back and it's still not off our floor, don't recommend that one..or the dish rag one if you have kids, they pull it and down comes the oven..good stuff otherwise..:)

I enjoyed this video, but... it does seem repetitive. There was one point when I thought I had done something wrong to make the video go back. Maybe try to group together some of the same ideas more? Sort of, like, to branch them out, I think is what I'm trying to get across.

Once upon a time it was great ideas ,but now days ,even with simple and outdated things -it is much cheaper and better solutions . The Velcro can be savier in many places ...but electric regular power strips ? Someone still using them? Simply update on what call squid or similar plug ,where outlets independent and each for one plug ,they come in 4-6-8 ,it is also towers ,or swivels ,the same concept. Maybe it is a time to visit Big Lots or Amazon and buy wireless mouse, etc, For tools - anything metal magnets tapes, rails, single very powerful magnets would hold that tool .... Great ideas ,but outdated for the most .. still great for outdoor cushions ! But don't forget you also have to clean those Velcro - and that for not faint of hearts.

Very Good ideas, I will be a subscriber. I ENJOYED THIS VIDEO VERY MUCH. I ALSO APPRECIATE YOUR HARD WORK TO MAKE THIS VIDEO. To the person I WILL NOT MENTION..You have the option to not watch the video, you can simply close,,,and have you every heard of "DON'T KICK A GIFT HORSE IN THE MOUTH??"

    • @jaytee2642
      @jaytee2642 7 ปีที่แล้ว

The phrase is 'don't LOOK a gift horse in the mouth'. It means if someone gives you a horse, you aren't supposed to check it's teeth (as a way of seeing if it's healthy).
So, if someone gives you a gift, accept it graciously, rather than inspect it for defects so you can decide it you should accept it.

I usually don't watch videos as long as this so you'd probably get more views.

The adhesive on Velcro often is not good. I use super glue to attach them. Some of these tips are stupid when you think about them. For example, if you use Velcro to attach name tags at a conference, you have to put Velcro on the lapel of your suit. My clothes cost too much to ruin them with adhesive. THINK before you give advice. Also, focus on a few tips, and give FULL instructions.
