For BNSF Six Axle battery electric hump switcher might be the answer for Barstow which itself is derived from the design inside Vienna Kledering 1064
So, from my understanding, this is how the Barstow Yard Works: First freight trains come in from Mojave and San Bernardino to drop off their consists in the Receiving Yard. Then, they're processed and sent down into the Classification Bowl via the Hump Tower to create smaller trains. Finally, they get picked up and sent out to other locations. I have never fully understood how important hump yards really are.
Really cool to see it from this perspective in action. I can see that they aren't even near capacity, as shows how much our economy can actually run at.
