I'm a 65 yo woman who had lost most of my brows due to age and thyroid issues. Earlier this year I began using 5% minoxidil liquid (1 drop per brow twice each day immediately after cleansing applied with my finger so it doesn't run) and Just For Men beard & mustache dye every couple of weeks. What a game changer!! Brows are so important, especially as we age. They have become a very quick part of my makeup routine instead of the timesuck they were. Your tips are very helpful! I hope in the future you'll do a video about choosing makeup colors that flatter older women. It's easy to go too dark or dramatic with brows, shadows, blush, and lips - which may be okay for an evening event but is too harsh for every day looks. Softer is better as we age and you've learned how to pick those types of colors. Thanks again!!
I have very sparse brows and can't find a true medium gray pencil, not charcoal which is too dark for me. Even so-called taupe looks orange on me. I need to fill in where there is no hair and anything that coats the hairs doesn't work for me. I used to buy Cover Girl gray but can't find it at the drug store or even online any more.
Did my brows right along with you in this tutorial and they look SO much better!! I was actually considering tattoo but this has saved me from that! Thank you for your videos!
Thank you for this! I was just working on this today, trying to figure out how to make my eyebrows look natural when I’m having to fill in the sparse areas, particularly the ends. This is so helpful!
Hi Angie. Thanks for this tutorial. I never had much eyebrow hair and they were also very light in color so they were almost non existent. I recently started dying them with Just For Men in Blonde, and what a difference!!!!! I use a small eyeliner brush and make strokes with the dye. I now can see what hairs I have which is a starting point for filling in my brows. AND when I haven’t done my brows there is something there and I don’t look like I’ve shaved them off. It lasts about a month.
Dying my eyebrows and lashes was the best beauty move ever for me. Both are very sparse so I was surprised at the results. We have lots of blonde hairs I suppose. And, it was easy to enhance a little for an evening look. My aesthetician stopped working during the pandemic due to mandates. I was intending to do it myself, and I bought the RefectoCil products that she used (German I believe), but I am such a chicken. My husband did it for me one time and I looked like Groucho Marx for a month.
You've read my mind Angie! This area has long been a problem for me due to my asymmetry and sparseness of my now "senior" brows. Now i have a plan, some products and a method to combat it properly. Thanks Angie - and now to put the techniques in motion!
I love your tutorials! Please do more. Would also love to see some updates on past devices such as Kenzzi and the newest NuFACE. I appreciate all the research you put into your channel! Thanks
So thorough Angie! Really the best tutorial I’ve seen. Thank you! I’d love to see how you clean your make up brushes and how often , and what you do with make up that was the wrong shade or how you declutter makeup you’ve decided just isn’t for you. Thanks!!
Thanks for the suggestions! How I clean my brushes is in this video: th-cam.com/video/tYnQWvkhJA8/w-d-xo.html This is the last declutter video I did: th-cam.com/video/aOydmzOZ20U/w-d-xo.html
Great video! I still have pretty full brows, but a few sneaky gray hairs are coming in. I find it hard to get the right product to cover the gray without looking to dark. And finding the right color is hard for me too. Fair skin, hair is light brown/blonde with some red. Most everything I’ve tried is either too light/ashy or too dark. But at least now I have a great technique to reference!
Fantastic tutorial and much needed. With 9.5 months of sinus and eye issues, any bit of help or encouragement to try and look a little more like myself is appreciated. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful content.
Yay! Always appreciate your tutorials. As trends and techniques do change overtime, I really appreciate your tutorials to keep it all fresh and current … in a way that works, with products that work for more mature skin. Thanks for trying all the stuff: time and money saver. 😊
Thanks so much for an in depth tutorial! I think it's been out for a while, but I just discovered the Cover Girl Clean Fresh brow filler pomade - it has a little paddle brush on the end like the Fenty MVP that you used in the video, but costs $10 at Target.
Love the q-tip trick. I've done it for years (and probably learned it on your channel). In addition, I powder my brows before applying any brow products. I really believe this helps products adhere.
As someone who has struggled with little to no brows (hypothyroidism), I really appreciate this! I never thought to shadow at the top. Brilliant. Will need to try the Fenty pencil - I like the blending paddle.
This is such a great tutorial! I got by brows microbladed in April and it was the best decision ever, since my brows were absolutely a mess. But this is amazing when it starts fading out and I have to do some filling. Thank you so much!
Thank you Angie! This is by far the best brow advice I have ever seen. It is really helpful that you show how to measure and the direction of how you apply the pencil for each part. I am definitely going to try the Fenty pencil. I have been using Hourglass and a few others and am hoping i can get better results with, as you mentioned, a softer pencil.
This is such a great video and it is gonna up my brow game. You’re the only TH-camr that I watch on regular speed. All the rest I have to speed up just to get through them. Happy Friday Angie!
I did try this immediately, and it worked so well for me!! Hands down the best eyebrow tutorial I’ve seen I was using these type products already, but did not use them this well. Thank you so much!!!❤
Good morning, Angie. That was awesome! I have needed this tutorial and, as usual, you are super clear and concise. I love that your videos give so much information without unnecessary wandering!😂 I am the same age as you and have been following your videos for about 10 years. I’ve learned so much… Thank you! Have a wonderful wonderful weekend.🌷Barb
This is very timely! I was just noticing that my eyebrows are sparse. Your detailed descriptions and commentary on the products you feature are most helpful! This video is very much appreciated, thank you Angie.
Good Friday morning Angie!! Love this video my brows are what bother me the most!! My tails are so so sad😂very sparse use Revitabrow religiously but those darn tails just do not want to grow!!! I have used just about every product out there never gave in to micro blading or any cosmetic procedure so excited to watch!! Hope you have a great weekend!!🍂🍁
Really great tutorial Angie! Thank you. I would have thought that shade was much too light for you but it's a perfect match. I've just been using a gel with color in it but would love to try this method also to see if I get a more natural look. I'd love to see a really detailed eye shadow tutorial for an everyday look. Powder and cream eyeshadows and pros and cons of each. Thanks for all you do Angie, been following you for years now!

Thanks, Angie! I inherited nicely shaped eyebrows from my Mom, but in recent years, they've lost their color, and I've struggled finding the best products, methods, and colors to make them look good again. Your tips and tricks are extremely helpful! You are the best! XXOO ❤️
Good Morning Angie - I'm pretty good with my brow game..Sometimes I color them because some are white, but that's easy! Thank you, and have a great weekend! Headed to Atlantic City to see Sarah McLachlan with my daughter! So excited! ~lori ❤
Perfect timing. I was born with Elizabeth Taylor type brows. Unfortunately aging has turned a lot of my hair gray. I love the q tip and spoolie recommendation. I am going on a cruise soon and I have booked a photography session to celebrate 65 . I am now confident that your method and products will produce the look I am going for. Thank you Angie for a much needed eyebrow tutorial as I have been struggling. I will start practicing this evening as Friday night is my beauty night.
Hi Angie. Hope you’ve had a wonderful week. This was a great video. Very helpful with some interesting products. Love the cute little brush. Have a lovely weekend. Sending you sunshine from Oz ❤🌏🦘
Hi Angie, Anastasia of the brow brand says to put the pencil next to the side of the tip of your nose. It brings your brows in more and looks really pretty. Would love to see you test it out!
You make it look so easy, Angie! All the brow pencils I've tried are great on the first brow. I get nice fine lines that look like brow hair. By the second brow, the pencil is worn down a little and all I get are brown blobs instead of hairlike strokes. It is so frustrating. Also, can anyone answer this question for me? Why is it that because I plucked my brows in the 70's and 80's I have sparse brows, but I keep plucking those stray hairs on my chin and they just keep coming back? LOL Love watching you!
This is, for me, one of the best eyebrow tutorials. It's one that I feel I may be able to pull off! Thank you so much.
You're so welcome!
Angie, thank you so much. I really appreciated the detail and the technique for making brows I’m 60 years old and I’m trying to learn.
