iam in the feeling of tired and sleeply.... once i saw your face "hello builder, developer and feature develop" on myself be a happy after saw you smiley face
Sorry, I don't have a video about that as it's not something you really need to concern yourself with when dealing with JavaScript on the Now platform. I've been scripting in ServiceNow for 11 years and never encountered it.
Thanks for the note. You may have missed it... The purpose of this was stated clearly in the first video. This is meant as an intro for those that do not know JavaScript. It is more than just generic JS as it also introduces a few ServiceNow classes and methods. This series is meant to get people ready for the scripting course offered on our NowLearning site. If you are comfortable with the level of information offered here, then I strongly recommend looking at taking that course for a deeper dive.
Which is of course drowned out by "on the Now Platform" boldly splashed everywhere. Just friendly advise from a long term business owner. Bait and switch wastes your customer's time. You can only waste so much of your customer's time before you don't have a customer. As someone with very little time to waste, I process everything through a quickReject(). Entries in the rejectQuickly table rarely get a second opportunity to waste my time. If a business entity makes it necessary for me to read their fine print to engage in simple business transactions with them, I find it simpler and easer to just do business somewhere else. I'm not trying to be mean but the reason the free market works and government doesn't is because the free market uses a language that will not be ignored or denied without meaningful cost. Often times, what appears to be a great business decision in the short run adds up and compounds over time to become a long term business killer. @@ChuckTomasi

The reason the do.. while(); has a semicolon at the end is to indicate the statement ends there

How do you return to the text editor after a script is executed?
Browser back button (or key sequence)
Hi, great videos ! Do you have a lesson about "semáforos" to threads ?
Sorry, I don't have a video about that as it's not something you really need to concern yourself with when dealing with JavaScript on the Now platform. I've been scripting in ServiceNow for 11 years and never encountered it.
What use case were you thinking you would need to involve semaphores and threads on the Now Platform?
👍
This is just a plain javascript class. I know javascript. I need servicenow. This wasted my time because of false marketing fluff.
