I’m pretty excited about this cover. just a feel good fun song, probably could be in the run for the MOST fun song EVER!
As a side note - once again my in-ear monitors screwing me over, I hear off-beat hi-hat during those snare rolls which I did not hear while I was learning it. So just a heads up if you’re learning the song and wanna do an accurate job I would consider adding it. But I guess I’m just a stickler.. cause honestly who cares. Play it however you will. It’s all just good FUN.
Django’s been sick lately, been crazy waking up 5 times a night to take him out. Lior sent me the cutest video of a diabetic alert dog that alerts his owner when they have low blood sugar. I was saying Django is a diarrhea alert dog, he alerts you when he has diarrhea lol. But all jokes aside, he’s on antibiotics now and has been doing much better. Also as a side note. You really don’t wanna be out in West Hollywood at all hours of the night without your Uzi. Glad that’s over.

@Frenzied Unicorn Productions I said they reminded me of Prodigy and a few other hard rocking bands. Then I watched a concert video of Skinred and one of their intros was from a Prodigy song. I hate to look stupid, but are some of the Skinred guys former Prodigy members?

First time I heard Skindred was when they opened for Disturbed in 2009 in Sacramento.
First and last time I saw them live and really listened to their music.
Still are a good band, but just got hit with a wave of nostalgia for that concert.

Those drums just sound off the charts….I like that the snare is just on your face in this one….all those ghost notes stand out and add to the song so much…

First concert I ever attended back in 08 they opened up, then it was seven dust with disturbed headlining. Honestly skindred blew them out of the water! They opened with Roots Rock Riot, total eargasm!!!!
@@MrOz350 not really hard to blow Disturbed out of the water, they fucking suck. And not really a fan of Sevendust either, I've heard a little of their stuff and want really impressed but they don't suck nearly as bad as Disturbed. When I was in jail the deputies would wake us up at 4 am with Disturbed blasting thru the speakers EVERY FUCKING MORNING. So I hated them even more than I already did. But seeing Skindred I'm sure was the highlight.

Now obviously you are an amazing drummer, its undisputable. But my absolute favorite part of watching you drum is seeing just how much fun you are having. You are clearly an amazing individual in more ways than these videos can even begin to show and it shines through your entire being. I love how you can't help but to sing with these songs which you have picked to cover because you sincerely like them. I am a musician myself and no matter what instrument I am playing in whatever band, I can't help but want to sing too...even at the occasional annoyance of a singer or two.
