I like the kidnapping line the most because she sounded genuinely disappointed and insulted when she found out she was only tied up by classmates instead of actually dangerous people. I loved how they were surprised at her rejecting them and how she sarcastically went “Can you believe it?!?” and I can still hear it from time to time.
This is also my favourite scene of her sarcastic quips... simply because there are just so many in the scene
Dangerous people would be either the teachers or the classmates cos its a BOARDING SCHOOL, she’s delusional :)

Reminds me of a scene in, of all things, and Artemis Fowl Yu-Gi-Oh crossover story. Kaiba was handcuffed because he tried to kill Artemis Fowl (long story) and after a long conversation where the two - grudgingly - agree to work together, Kaiba reveals he got the handcuffs off basically immediately, he just pretended to be restrained the whole conversation as part of a power move. Smug lad even twirls the handcuffs around his finger to show off he got them undone.

Unfortionately, not all flying stingers are bees.

I love Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, I feel she fits the role so perfectly. What I DONT love is how the screenwriters make her mother look or how they consistently have Wednesday berating or insulting her. She NEVER did that to her mother and fully respected her very much(in obviously her own way lol) but was never like that. And her mother didn’t and wouldn’t have cared about half the shit they try to strong arm a “normal” mother would. My only gripe
Me too, I love how she performs the character, but I don't like the relationship they did with the mother, completely the opposite , as well I think they could have done better with Morticia's performance

Honestly, they destroyed both parents AND Pugsley’s characterization.
In the show Wednesday was a little kid. Teenagers rarely have the same relationship with their parents that children do.

That was one of my faves for sure, harkens back to Christina Ritchie from the 90s movie(s). Im glad they carried that aspect of little Wednesdays over from the movies, those are some of my favorite lines from any movie period. Them coming out of 10yr old little girls mouth is so hilarious.

This show had such a great take on Wednesday. My biggest gripe with it though is that the only results important to the case happened her visions. I’m hoping the next season can give her more reliance on her investigative skills
I loved that her personality in this show is not just for laughs but serves as a very respectable way to live: Understanding yourself and being proud of it.

Another interesting fact about "queen" bees:
They're not actually the leader of the hive. They're just a living egg laying machine.
Bees have fairly short lifespan except for queens (I think they can live for a few years compared to the handful of weeks the others get). So they most bees in a hive would be either her descendants, mates, or both. One of my other favorite lines was "she's been smothering me with hospitality...I intend to return the favor in her sleep" and when the pilgrim dudes asked if she's ever been with a normie she says "I haven't met one that could handle me" i thought that line was so bad ass. The line that cracks me up every time and always will was "everyone would know I failed to get the job done" 😂 it was early on in the show and it was at that moment that I knew I was gonna love her character a lot

The fact that Morticia is doing the “how would that look on your record” thing just shows the showrunners don’t understand the first thing about the Addams Family.
