Hi Babes! Today, is all about perfumes! Thank you so much to all of you who requested this video, my apologies it took so long :) As many of you know, if there is something I like just as much as handbags and lipsticks, its perfume! For the most part I stick to florals, but sometimes I want something a little warmer. I am definitely not the best at trying to explain the scents that come to mind, but I hope you find it helpful. Minks4All Haha I love Chanel no 5 but pretty much only wear it to bed (a la Marylin Monroe) because so many people hate it. I can't let that stop me from enjoying it though!
I wanted to ask if you've ever tried Gucci Bloom and what you think of it since you seem to like florals, and Gucci perfumes. I bought it for myself even though I don't tend to go for straight floral but the packaging is to die for in my opinion!

I love how gucci bamboo smells from the bottle.. as soon as i spray it on my skin it starts smelling like feet though🤢 my mom sprayed it on her skin and it almost didn't change from the original smell.. had to give it to her 🙃
I have a lot of these perfumes. Gucci Bamboo is one of my faves- subtle enough for daytime. Same with Flowerbomb- I will wear it in the daytime (with a light hand) and I feel glamorous when I’m wearing it. Will definitely check out your other favorites. I love fragrance!!! 💗

If you love floral scents I would recommend Dior J’Adore L’Or. The staying power is over 10 hours, and warm floral scent.
Hello! I just thought that when describing a perfume, "Dry down" is a better way of describing the finishing notes on your skin instead of saying,"Die down. I love your perfume reviews.💙
Ralph Lauren Blue is my go to. Hard to find but I’ve gotten lots of compliments when wearing it. If you like floral, clean, fresh with a slight musky scent. Go for it :)

Love ur video! Well, I have quit a few favorites. Tom for Velvet Orchid, bvlgari crystal line, Tiffany & Co, # 1 is Versace Eros. I have to many favorites

OMG We have sooooo many similar fragrances! I LOVE D&G No. 3, Had at least 2 bottles, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet 2 bottles + hair spray as well, Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie, My Burberry... and I love a lot of the smells that are in your collection but not in mine.
So, I'm going to name some of my favs on what you may like (which I absolutely love!! might b a long list). My favorites are more so at the top, with no particular order, because I only buy perfumes with the scent I love.
Chanel No. 5 L'eau - this is one of my new favs, it's a lighter version of No. 5, which smells I believe smells way better than their other new signature Chanel Gabrielle.
Jo Malone - I've got the Elderflower & Gooseberry (This is one of the exclusive scents they sell only at the Regent St. Boutique, this was the only scent I love, there are people who recommended the Silk Blossom, but it didn't sparkle with me), English Pear & Freesia (although I'm more a floral person, I do believe this smells more floral than fruity.. even if it falls under the fruity category), Peony & Blush Suede (a sweet scent which I would categorize more with fruity than floral XD)
Jo Loves No. 42 The Flower Shop - this is a brand that Jo Malone started after she sold and subsequently left Jo Malone. It's a collection of complete different smells, and it's one of my absolute favorites! The collection is combined of scents hard to imagine, and more earthy kind of scent. But this one, this one totally sparkled my eyes, and the person who was helping me saw my expression and told me this is it! I believe they sell online on Sephora, you can definitely give this one a try!! I love it way more than Jo Malone.
Burberry London - I purchased this one over My Burberry at London flagship boutique, they did tell me it was limited edition... but I'm not quite sure the difference cuz I still see it everywhere @@. I was gifted My Burberry as sample size, which I do like as well.
Garden Botanika Heart Eau de Parfum - I first smelled this from my boss, and she told me she smelled off a flight attendant XD So this is definitely a smell that get plenty of compliments. I'm not sure what happened to their brand, their official site is no longer available, all their products are now on zidle.com
Chloe Love Story (one of the fav too), and Chloe Roses (both I got in Sephora while I was in States as roller pen, love!)
Prada Candy Florale - I bought as poller pen too, I loved it so much that I got more roller pens on the next possible visit to States.
Giorgio Armani Code (Women) Luna
Giorgio Armani - Acqua di Gioia Eau De Toilette (the older version is Acqua di Gio, which smells great, the one I got was a similar version, now they've got a bunch of the same name but different flavors, you ought to give them a try)
Ferragamo Signorina in Fiore - this one I don't own, but have suggested to a friend which she completely loves, that makes me happy!
Honoralbe Mentions - Estee Lauder Modern Muse, Givenchy Very Irresistible, Gucci Envy Me (pink one), Hermes Jour d'Hermes Absolu Eau de Parfum (this is I never bought the perfume, I got the body lotion instead), Lancome Miracle, Lanvin Eclat D'arpege...

Great content .... I would love to try some of the perfumes you mentioned. As for my body chemistry black opium from YSL, Issey Miyake and la vie est belle lancome works best. I am in love with the van cleef Feerie bottle!
I had to laugh when you said you buy some fragrances just for the packaging, because I just did the same thing with Coco Mademoiselle twist and spray. I’m trying to make myself like it just because the bottle is so darn cute and it travels so well in my handbags.
My mom could wear any fragrance, expensive or cheap and they all smelled heavenly on her. People were always stopping her to ask her what perfume she had on. Alas, I am the exact opposite. I will LOVE 💕 the fragrance in the bottle, then after about an hour it smells completely different on me, and usually not good. I literally never had anyone compliment my perfume until I wore Izea from Sisley-Paris. For whatever reason that one works great with my body chemistry because I have been complimented several times when I wear it. When I smell it in the bottle it just smells like a soft floral to me, ok but not amazing, yet it works with my chemistry.
Great video. I absolutely love Chanel Chance and get so many compliments on it.
While Christmas shopping, I got a perfume sample from my Hermès SA called Galop d’Hermès and I absolutely LOVE it!!! It’s hard to explain but to me it smells like florals with leather which sounds kinda gross but TRUST ME, it’s amazing 😁 I just might have to go back and get a full size bottle!
Also some fragrances that I would honestly have more than food are:
1) CHANEL No5
2) Geurlain Shalimar
3) Jean Patou Joy
All three are AMAZING and I definitely think you should smell them at least once in your lifetime 👍🏼❤️
Hi, you did a great job on explaining about your fragrance collection. I sold designer fragrances for Macys for 27 1/2 years until my position was cut in Jan2017 which was a real shocker because I wasn't expecting it. I worked for Macy's. Some of my personal favorites are Armani Code, Viva la Juicy, Coach, Tom Ford, Gaultier, Jimmy Choo, Versace Crystal Noir, L.A.M.B., Viva LA Juicy Gold Couture, Viva La Juicy Rose and many more. Those are some of the ones I own. One day I will do a video on them.
This video is fantastic! I have bought several things off your suggestions and have not been disappointed. My collection is no where near yours but it is growing! I would love to see you update this again in a few years like you did from the 2015 video.

Jo Malone works well for me, but my body chemistry turns Flowerbomb to black pepper, so I can relate.
Sheri Sheribaby lol I put on Flowerbomb and my husband volunteered I smelled like a little old lady wearing Avon. Ok never wore it again.
Bond No 9 New Haarlem is my all time favorite perfume. You should look for if that is one you haven’t tried! And if you like floral Nolita is nice as well.

Hi Minnie. Thanks for sharing your perfume collection. My absolute favorite, bar none, is the YSL Black Opium. It’s the warm vanilla note that had me at first sniff. I also adore D&G The One, it’s strong, but I love the fresh grapefruit citrus note. Honorable mentions are Lancôme La Vie Belle (sweet, but not sickening), Origins Ginger (mild spicey notes), and Philosophy Fresh Cream (sweet vanilla). I plan to pick up Dior Poison Girl and Victor & Rolf Flower bomb next time I perfume shop.

I got L'Erbolario Dolcelisir for my 25th anniversary from my husband (at my request ha ha). And it is beautiful!!!! Smells like pie! Yum! I had been eyeing this for years! It is not expensive but it is perfectly made!
Minnie, i loved this video, our collection is almost identical!! I also love romance by ralph lauren, I used to wear it all the time in my early college years...my current fav now is chanel coco mademoiselle and LV rose des vents. If you like roses you have to smell it!! I just got it a few months ago and have already put a dent in it. I have to try to use other scents but i cannot put it down!!

Had I known, I would have put a sample of ‘Mon Guerlain’ in your box that was given to me in Paris. I bought the purse size there (not sold in the US) I only wear Mon Guerlain and the sa give me 2 samples.. Mon Guerlain is their 2017 perfume.

Awesome collection Minnie! My all time favorite, signature scent = Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana! It has been worn on special occasions as well as every day. The runner up to that is Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs - super pretty scent that I wear in the warmer seasons.
Thanks so much for this fun video, Minnie. I have thought long and hard about fragrance, and would love to share my thoughts with you. First and foremost, fragrance is a form of communication. I see a definite connection between how we smell, how we look, and what we are trying to communicate about ourselves to others. I see my fragrance as a very clear extension of my personal style. Second, fragrance can be especially meaningful to us when it connects to a memory. For example, when I wear my grandmother's signature fragrance, I immediately connect to my happy childhood memories of her. Third, I believe when we are married or in any committed relationship that our fragrance should be pleasing to our partner. My husband has definite preferences, and I take these into account in my fragrance selection. Fourth, scent is so personal that I prefer to choose it for myself. I would not give a gift of fragrance to anyone unless I knew for certain that the recipient particularly likes and wants to wear that fragrance. Finally, I have become a great fan of a carefully curated small fragrance wardrobe. I refuse to wear any fragrance I don't absolutely love and want to use. Life's too short for that. The perk of having a small collection is that I am able to indulge in the body creme or lotion that accompanies each fragrance. Nothing is more luxurious. And layering fragrance with a companion creme or lotion definitely increases any fragrance's staying power. I know this all sounds very analytical, and it is. But my approach to fragrance selection grew from decades of experience. Like you, there was a time when I had a much larger fragrance collection, some I loved, some I liked, and some I found out that I didn't care for. At 60, I've figured out that I don't need so much variety. I wear three fragrance all stars and have a fourth fragrance in my collection that rotates as I continue to experiment. When it comes to fragrance, it turns out that that's all I need.
I got a sample of LV Apogee and I’ve been trying it out before purchasing it. Perfume is a lot like lip gloss on me. They don’t stay very long when I wear them. I also have lots of allergies and some perfumes make me sneeze. I was at Dillards one day and a SA for one of the cologne company told me to spray the cologne on the top of my head and it will stay all day. I never heard of that. Have you? I thought that was weird.
Try spraying the Jo Malone or any scent that doesn’t work with your body chemistry on your clothes before you put them on. Maybe that will work.
I want to try the Joe Malone scent that you have but you may like Peony and blush suede too. I love it! I ordered it blind because I didn’t know of any place that sold it except for sephora on line but thankfully it smells wonderful.
I really enjoyed this video. My favorite fragrance right now is Gucci Bloom. My all-time favorite fragrance is L'Occitane The Vert & Bigarade (Green tea & bitter orange). Whenever I use this fragrance I get so many compliments-from both men and women. It's such a clean scent and it definitely stands out.
I wear the Chanel Eu Tendre and I love it. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay very long.

Minnie, I, too, dislike Jo Malone fragrances. I am 69 and have trouble now with scents. The new Gucci Bloom is awesome for sure. I also am on the fence with Chanel 5 and all Chanel fragrances after all these years. Enjoy you and your channel!

What a fantastic collection. I'm a fan of the YSL Black Opium received it for CHRISTmas. Gifted my mother with Miss Dior. I love Chanel. One of my ALLLLLL time favs is Ralph Lauren's SAFARI and will be for the rest of my life. Infact, squirt me so I smell good as I walk through the pearly Gates of heaven honey.🤣🤣🤣 I personally love strong perfumes I just use less of it. Yes, a gorgeous packaging gets me too. And also, I'm a seasonal wearer...not by choice more so by mood. Spring/Summer = florals, citrus, sweet scents and Fall/Winter = smoke, oud, wood, musk scents. Have you tried Tiffany, I'm thinking you would love it... I received it as a gift as well... it's for the warmer weather with me. Ohhhh, I also mix fragrances too, love it. Now, mixing a powder fragrance with another scent will give you great use of the ones you don't like. Jo Malone is known for this. Give it a try...if it doesn't work send all the ones you dislike to me. I'm making a list of ideas now. TFS💯😍💕

I'm a huge sucker for beautiful packaging. The Chloe Love story looks beautiful but hate the scent. Im not a fan of Jo Malone except English Pear. It smells strange but once the scent settles it smells so good.

I just got Chanel No.5 for Christmas and I am kind of on the fence about it too. I like it a little but I can't wear it all of the time I do love JoMalone peony and blush suede and orange blossom and Ralph Lauren Romance smells amazing to me! 💖 I also love JessicaSimpson Fancy Love and I have been wearing it for years. I get more compliments when I wear JessicaSimpson than anything else.🙈 I guess it just works well with my body chemistry! ❤️ I love your collection and it is amazing! ❤️ I am dying to try the Black Opium now!! 😘 I love that you are a perfume addict just like me! 💖

My signature scent is Chanel Chance Eau Tendre..always got compliment whenever I wear it and it last all day at least on me. Other than that Jo Malone Nectarine and honey blossom,Tom Ford Tobbaco and Vanille, Elizabeth and James Nirvana White, Maison Margiella Jazz Club. Those are my favorite and my body chemistry agree with the scent not to mention all the compliments that I got. Next purchase probably will be Hermes Twilly as Kristina Braly kinda make me want to buy it :)
Scents are so personal, aren’t they? I can’t do Flowerbomb. I loved the green Chance but quickly went off. There is a fragrance I wore for years that I can’t even now. Packaging can draw me in too. I have entirely too many perfumes but right now for Winter I love Hermes Amber Nargulie, LV Contre Moi, and Tom Ford Champaca Absolute. Spring time: Acqua di Parma Acqua Nobile Magnolia, Hermes Absolut and Aerin Waterlily Sun. Honorable mention goes to Jo Malone and Elizabeth & James. Thanks for sharing. I was also buying bigger bottles and because I have quite a few I had a couple go bad. I only buy smaller bottles now. My tried and true that I have been buying for years are light blue by D&G and Burberry Brit. But my favorites at the moment are Black Opium, Chanel Chance, and My Burberry. I am also torn on LV perfumes but i think I have narrowed it down to Matiere Noire.
I’m going to go smell some of these! I have a super sensitive nose like you (drug dog!!), and so many fragrances make me sick, or give me a headache.
I was sent a nice bottle of the LV Turbulences (the 1.5fl oz!) by an SA. I cringed when he said he was going to send it, but upon smelling it, I fell in LOVE! I don’t wear perfume daily, but I do keep going back to this one.
I loved Romance back in the day too! I also love Ralph by Ralph Lauren, and Used to also love Chanel Chance. The right perfumes are hard for me! Hoping that I love some (I’d even be happy to find one! Lol) off of your list!

I absolutely love Versace Bright Crystal. It’s my most complimented perfume when I’m wearing it.
Great video, I wrote down some perfumes to try. I had D&G L'Imperatrice, but I felt like it changed by the end of the bottle.. My daughter finally broke it and I just tossed it. Based on your choice you can try Champs Elysees by Guerlain, Amarige By Givenchy, Halloween By Del Pozo, L'Au D'Issey by Issey Myake, Cool Water by Davidoff (this one is watermelon on a rainy day)
I feel the exact same same way about most of Jo Malone scents! The only one I can stand on myself is Red Roses, because it smells like an actual real rose.🌹🌹🌹

My favorite fragrance of all time is Serge Lutens 'La Fille de Berlin'...a beautiful true rose with a hint of spice. I also love Amouage 'Dia Woman' (best aldehyde fragance round), Frederic Malle 'Portrait of a Lady' (an animalistic rose fragrance), and Armani Prive 'Ambre Eccentrico (a spicy fruity amber fragrance).
I am attracted by the bottle design too but I've still got to love the perfume.
I can totally relate to you about the packaging!! I had my husband purchase the Carolina Herrera parfum for me as one of my gifts for Christmas. The smell is fine but nothing special really. The real reason I wanted it was that I was drawn to it because the bottle is shaped like a pretty black and gold stiletto 😂

I went to check out the D & G 3 L’Imperatrice after watching your video and I fell in love with the scent and I bought it and is now my favourite everyday perfume (Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet was my go to). I heard they will be discontinuing this and the other D & G Anthology perfume series. Do you know anything about this? It would be a shame if it was. If it wasn’t for your video I wouldn’t have known this scent and would miss out!!
The EDT fragrances are going to be a bit lighter and tend to last a shorter amount of time than the EPDs. I get headaches very easily with a lot of perfumes, so EDTs are the way to go for me even though they don’t last as long and I have to repspray them more often.
My ultimate favorite perfumes are Coco mademoiselle from Chanel & Narcisco Rodriguez And I also loved the scent of peace
I am also that type that like the bottles without liking the scent, for example I like the bottle of Shalimar, it's so classy & beautiful, but I would not say the same to the scent itself.

I don’t typically like florals but have you tried Gucci Bloom? It is lovely and would encourage you to take it a whirl. It is beautiful. And I am a musky amber spicy woodsy type of girl, but oh my bloom gets me.
If you like floral scents, try amazing grace by philosophy. I’m partial to pure grace but my all time favorite fragrance is Chanel No 5.

Great collection. Regarding the Jo Malone, maybe only spray it on your clothes rather than directly on your skin? I have a fragrance that doesn’t work on me but I spray it on my shirt for the day or on a scarf so I can still enjoy it. Worst case, use it as a bed linen spray so it doesn’t just sit on your dresser for years😉
I love le lebo, my fav is santal 33. Also jo Malone English oak and hazelnut is amazing and wood sage and sea salt is my favorite. Chloe roses is also beautiful and one of my favorites from years ago is Sarah Jessica Parker lovely it’s such a beautiful classy fragrance. And if you like vanilla musk Donna Karen cashmere mist is an amazing one as well.

I like gucci bloom and TF orched soleil for now. My all time fave is valentina by valentino, D&G la lune and candy prada. Love to have chanel and jo malone perfumes but its too costly.
Would u consider selling the jo Malone for a lesser price than what u paid?

i don't have that much of perfume I prefer 4 different perfumes at a time because that way I can enjoy it then when one finishes that the time to try a different one. I got dior bloom, flower bomb, ysl mon paris which i absolutely love on top of all the perfume I have and diorissimo
Have you tried the Jo Malone pear and freesia? I have many of the same perfumes you do, so we definitely have the same taste. I also had the mimosa and cardamom fragrance and exchanged it for the pear and freesia and I always get tons of compliments.

Hi Minnie. I love that you did your perfume Collection. I can talk about this untill I stop breathing lols. I m a HUGH sucker for packaging. I brought the Moschion teddy bear perfume just for the bear( looks like a toy bear ). I have some recommendations miu miu by miu miu. It's got a beautiful scent not to over powering and the bottle is 👌. Then they is Estee Lauder, Beyond Paradise( the bottle just draws you in). Its a floral sent to. Last Marc jacobs woman. It was the 1st perfume he made. It is also floral scent but not over powering. I could write more but dont wanna bore you 😉. Hope your having a fantastic day/night 😁😁😁
I feel we may be similar in how we wear our perfumes. Once we get them, we wear them so much then it’s like ehhh. I think I should stop buying full sized because I get over them so quickly.
Ooooh girl! I think you are my twinnie when it comes to perfume choices I do have the ralph lauren romane, black opium, flowerbomb channel no5 they are so far that compliments to my body chemistry. It is true for the first time you try it on in stores it excites you on how it smells but later on you feel nauseaus and wont wannause it for a long time. I absolutely LOVE Jo Malone!! Honestly, I pile it on & can never smell it on myself! I have never gotten any feedback on it. So I don’t know if anyone can even smell it on me. So we may be in the same boat. 😆

Gucci Bamboo, Black Opium, love! I can comment on all of them but I will spare everyone and you, lol. Oh, my scent that I will always have in my collection is Eternity.
