There are old corvettes for like 5k-11k
I love watching these videos, as horsepower rises from the 50's to the 70's, then drops until the 90's, and suddenly skyrockets steadily into 2019, it's like seeing a phoenix rise from the ashes and reach heights far beyond what it ever was.
The greatest American sport car ever. My personal fav. was the C4. Actually I had an opportunity to try the 35th anniversary model. Great car!

I have this friend that mention something about a stingray(c7) and I said all c7 corvettes look the same and he said no they don't but he brought up a picture of a c6 zr1
To say all new designs are just redesigns/Frankenstein of previous designs is very naive.

The C7.R did have one key win; at the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours in the LMGTE Pro category.
The other key urgency behind the win? They had to start the race with only car number 64 because 63 had a mechanical issue that could not be solved before the start, and it ended up beating the 2 AF Corse Ferrari 458 GT cars to win it's class.

Very cool I liked the Vette too
The 1968 design came from the Pontiac Banshee prototype from 1964.
...which originally was supposed to be produced alongside the Corvette (itself influenced by the Mako Shark) until GM decided they didn't want an in-house competitor to their flagship performance model and rustled up the Camaro-based Firebird instead. BIt of a shame that the 'Vette never got another family member but at least the eventual outcome for us performance buyers ended well...
1958 and 1962 are so classy, All Stingrays rock too, 63-80s are all stunning the C3 looks so good... am I the only one that wants an old Corvette even nowadays? New Corvettes have lost the Corvette touch :'( don't get me wrong cause they're cool but that classsic stingray shape... Can't be seen anywhere in new Corvettes

How'd you miss the C4 ZR1? Such an iconic car and a major departure in the engine from the traditional Corvette. Also, you now need to update this for the C8.

This channel has an amazing opportunity to blow up, but i have some suggestions:
1. The speed at which you change from car to car is really fast, you should slow it down a bit.
2. You should maybe add some background music (low enough that we can still enjoy the amazing sounds of the engines, type in yt “the evolution of the f1 steering wheel” i think its the first video, sorta like that).
Apart from that you have amazing content, please expand the videos to more cars because im hooked!

That is not what the rear of the '58 looked like. The Vette didn't switch to that style of rear end until '61.

Its nuts that a 7.4 liter engine only made 250 hp. Honda Accords nowadays make that with 2.0T
The biggest error in this video, is the fact that the L88 with 560hp was on both the C2 and C3. How in heck could you miss that?

Never knew the C3 had a long, long production life
The Gas Crisis and Emmision's were really bad times for fun cars. You can see how the power drops by half from the same displacement when the gas crisis hit.
The worst part is that the cars were not a single bit more economical and the emmission standards were bonkers and didn't help at all fight the Smog. It was a dark age for automotive industry...

Really well done, evolution of the Challenger and the Corvette.Looks like a very big change coming with a mid-engine Vette. Not sure the Dodge Demon is a streetable daily driver, more of a factory race car.
I just remember stories of my uncles talking about how fast that C4 was...I'm like "Okaaaay 🙄... u mean compared to the average car at the time right?" They was like nah....It was fast fast..."Okaaay🙄"

[I may be wrong on this information] For the 1958 model corvette, didn't that model year carry on the rear from the 1956-1957 model? (only the headlights changed from single to double). I thought the rear of the C1 corvette changed in 1956 and 1959, where the 1959 rear design would be adopted by the C2 Corvette. (If this is correct, the diagram of the corvette in the video is incorrect)
Also since the video listed some trims, the video left out the 1970-72 ZR1 trim.
Also forgot some concepts but randomly included the Mako Shark...
