How do you know when certain trains are gonna come at what time? I rail fan on the joint line and I have a very tough time trying to see a train and sometimes just going home empty handed.
Unfortunately, they just took down the most helpful public site last week, but I would recommend getting a scanner and listening to channel 160.65. That will get you all the conversation between crews and dispatchers, as well as warrants and lead numbers for all NBs around Fountain. Also, if you look up CO Trip Planner, they have a number of cameras along I-25. Some of these face the tracks, and can be a pretty good way to see if anything is coming if you watch them enough.
