5:42 why did the Canadian manager have his outfield playing that shallow with 2 outs? Makes no sense to me, you play to get the batter out in that situation. There is no need to cut the runner off with 2 outs. The kid at 3rd will score on a hit anyway and the runner at 2nd wont score if you had the outfielders in a few steps or more, instead of 30ft behind the infield. Yes, they were so good that they got suspsended for a while...
Two no-hitters in the international bracket on opening day... RIP offense

Let's go Taiwan!!!
Catchers are supposed to be a brick wall. Canada's catcher was more like a pole.
Yeah, his blocking technique is non-existent.
So I'm not the only one that finds it hard not to be critical even though they're kids 😂

Great start from our local boys! Hope they can make it to the final this year.
So glad to see Taiwan back in Williamsport, their style of play is better than Korea
The last two times there two teams played (2023) (2024) Chinese Taipei threw a no hitter or a perfect game.
let's bring it home this year. It's been far far too long. taiwan has won like 10 of the last 11 junior league titles.
I remembered that Canada got perfected by Taiwan last year? So at least this year they improved.

10:22 Running error by the AP team as there are 2 outs, and the runner is waiting between 1st and 2nd base ...

Do you know Taiwan team is the shortest team(with Canada), the other 18 teams are taller than them.
Canada had a hit in the 5th!
A lot of these catchers can’t keep the ball in they hand it’s crazy
They have to change the format. It's not fair that an American team is guaranteed a slot in the final.
An international team is guaranteed a spot too

It wasn’t the catcher’s fault that Canada scored zero runs! Or that the failed pickle brought in a run.
Canada catcher needs some serious help!! I don't care if he's a coaches kid . . . there's a bunch of other kids being hurt by his current inabilities.
Wow the left the Taiwan player in for a while. Will the extra day of rest hurt them next game?
They are allowed 85 pitches per game. It is risky keeping your ace in in the first round game
