Playing Agricola with 3-players

Who will have the best farm? We're playing Agricola with our 8 year old using the family mode variation. Agricola is a Euro worker placement board game. Each of us starts with two family members and a pretty empty farm.
As we work to expand our homes and families, raise animals, and tend our fields, we'll see who's farm can survive in post-plague Europe.
