This concert is a wonderful delight to see & hear!!!! Victor Lewis played with brushes at first, so expressive, then later on used drum sticks, I loved the effect he created with tempo & pace! Great work Symbols, on the 1st tune,, I was overwhelmed by the Piano player, very nice touch , he is developing a very nice style with a listener like me, I really got caught up emotionally with his tonality. The Bass player was again surprisingly very nice. This set was 8yrs ago! Would love to hear how they have progressed up until now.
Victor is one of my favorite drummers. His swinging ability is out of this world. Listen how he is able to keep the band swinging in the slow tempo of the first track! Thanks for the up!
