I have no rooting interest for either side -- I don't know any of the players or coaches. I'm just a long time basketball fan and TH-cam popped up this recommendation to watch --- and I did. There were many outstanding plays from both Maple Grove and Providence Academy, but I was especially impressed by Maddyn Greenway. All I saw was a tremendously skilled player giving all-out effort for the entire game. She earned every point, rebound, assist and steal she got -- without a hint of unfair play. I think the University of Kentucky is getting a brilliant player.
It seems to me that Maddyn plays the same way in all of her games and doesn't foul out. Are you implying that all of the refs in MN have decided to not to call penalties on her? She knows the limits of the rules and plays right up to those limits. You may not like, but she has the talent to do just that.
Are you going to the DeLaSalle vs Oakland Tech game on Thursday December 5th?
Go Bulldogs!!
Greenway plays basketball like a linebacker. Will the refs continue to let her get away with it? Of course they will!
