How will Princess Mako’s exit affect Japan’s royal family?

  • Princess Mako of Japan, the 30-year-old niece of Emperor Naruhito, married her college sweetheart, Kei Komuro, on Oct. 26. Under Japanese law, female members of the royal family must give up their titles and leave the palace if they marry a commoner. Men are not subject to this restriction. The women who exit the family cannot return, even if they get a divorce, and their male children lose their chance at reigning. There is now just one heir to the throne, Prince Hisahito, who is Mako’s brother. Read more: wapo.st/3bdBiHo. Subscribe to The Washington Post on TH-cam: wapo.st/2QOdcqK

I feel very sad that the Japanese people who oppose this marriage are misunderstood.
Due to the following facts that English news does not report, we Japanese learned of Kei's repeated lies.
Because of that, we objected him to become a relative of our Imperial Family (the symbol of Japan; existing by the trust, respect, and taxes from people):
When this money problem between Kei's mother and her ex-fiance was discovered (2017), Kei was asked by Akishino (Mako's father), which he replied "I didn't know about this at all."
However, Kei himself joined the meeting about this money problem with his mother and her ex-fiance, then recorded the conversation (2012).
Kei, who was ordered to explain to the public by Akishino, created "Komuro Document" by quoting only a part of the recorded data and published it (April 2021). He turned the ex-fiance into a liar, claimed it was not a debt but a gift.
Immediately after that, the ex-fiance submitted all the recorded data, then we found out that Kei was a liar.
Only four days after Komuro Document was released, Kei changed his attitude and announced his intention to pay the settlement fee.
However, after that, though the ex-fiance proposed a discussion for the settlement fee, Kei kept refusing it and ignoring him.
Six months after the announcement of the intention of the settlement fee, Kei forced the marriage without solving anything (October 2021).
At the press conference immediately after the marriage (October 26, 2021), Kei said, "Occasionally, my mother and I have expressed to her ex-fiance our gratitude." "I received a positive response from him regarding the negotiations."
However, the ex-fiance later announced "There is no such fact in either case."
After getting married, Kei finally met him just before he went to the United States and "agreed to pay a settlement fee" (November 2021), but the source of the money is not disclosed.
In addition, Mako announced at the press conference after marriage that "I let Kei do that to his mother's ex-fiance since 2017."
Also, Kei got a job at a high-end bank in Tokyo (although he quit it soon), entered a national graduate school, studied abroad in New York with a grant (Only one student can get the scholarship at Fordham University, but Kei didn't pass the bar exam though many of his classmates passed), and lived in New York for years.
These unfair and costly lifestyle was helped by Akishino (through his friends).
On the other hand, the ex-fiance ran out of money due to Kei's studying abroad at UCLA (2012) and the numerous luxurious demands by Kei's mother, he became unable to pay his mortgage and sold his house and car. He is now still working for a living in his 70s.
About Kei's mother, she commits Survivor's pension fraud and Sickness/Injury benefits fraud. But the police doesn't investigate her though they arrest other people for the same crimes.
These unfairness and abuse of power by the Imperial Family violate the Constitution of Japan.
We Japanese have lost a great deal of trust and respect for our Imperial Family in the last few years.
We feel hopeless the Imperial line will be moved to the Akishino family after the current Emperor retires.

The current Constitution the 1947 one was passive aggressively imposed by General Douglas MacArthur and the Americans which lead to such succession crisis. I think it's high time to relinquish that and revive a more Meiji style Constitution with the Imperial princely branch houses and peerage nobilities and the aristocracy to continue the Imperial succession.

Kei Komuro who wrote multiple lies in his resumes such as winning award that President Obama did and working at US Dentsu which Dentsu clarified Kei Komuro was never hired; He got a job at American law company even before graduating or becoming a lawyer... and it was announced he failed the exam just a day or two after their marriage. By the way, 80% of the test takers pass this exam to become a lawyer and he failed. Clearly there is an influence of Royal Family and Kei is taking advantage of it. Kei Komuro somehow won first prize in a competition sponsored by the New York State Bar Association for law school students. His mom owes 40,000 dollars to his ex-finance and did not resolve the money problem. As of today, Kei Komuro and Mako live in an apartment that costs 8000 dollars per month. Kei Komuro's father committed suicide by burning himself to death. His mother continued to receive support from the govt being a widow although she already had a new partner. The Japanese reporter submitted evidences of her crime to the court but the request of investigation was rejected (because of the royal power, basically). Where-ever they go, the guards are paid from Japanese taxes. Now that Komuro is not even a lawyer, he does not financially support Mako so they, together with his mom, will eat off of Japanese taxes.

In reality, he is an incompetent and vulgar playboy, and his mother is an abominable woman with a lot of dirty money troubles. In particular, she is also found suspicious of the criminal act of illegally receiving her survivor's pension. Will the Japanese people welcome such a vulgar parent-child marriage to the imperial family?? However, the very very foolish Princess Mako has gotten married forcibly. They fixed that Mako's husband's now husband had a complicated economic issue (not him, his mother), but they do not notice that Emperor's brother Naruhito, Prince Fumihito (father of Mako) and his wife Kiko (mother of Mako) They hurried to have a child already large, past 40, because they had 2 daughters, Mako and his sister, since his brother, the now Emperor Naruhito, only had a daughter and his wife Empress Masako, for his depression, He had no more children. They are more complex, we say, so to speak, Mako's parents that her mother's husband. Of that I'm sure.
Hopefully one day they left women being Emperatrices, and the only daughter of the current Emperor, Aiko, was the next Empress. If they continue to expel them from the family by getting married, they will be left without a real family, as is happening. Now they let Mako let go.

You are NOT trying to blame Fumihito and his wife for having a 3rd child (happen to be a boy), are you?
      1. Royal or not, Japan needs more children. The Japanese race is gonna extinct soon.
      2. Royal or not, Fumihito and his wife can have as many children as they like, at any age they like. It's their human right!
      3. Your timeline is WRONG, it's NOT that Fumihito and his wife have a son led to Empress Masako cant have more children. On the contrary, BECAUSE Masako cant have more children that they (may be forced to) have a 3rd child.

This will include retaining the princesses from their status and title even when they marry a commoner and restoring the former cadet branches of the imperial family as well the Japanese nobility and aristocratic families.

The problem is not about a traditional thing at all, but all about a moral and ethical problem as a person.
Who wants to send your daughter to a family who has never returned the money to have hugely helped the mom, Kayo, and the son, Kei, for fancy private schools by cheating an old fiancé and even the social pension system? She is accused now for receiving pension at fraud.
More dreadful thing which speaks everything is Kei’s father burned himself to death. Kei’s father’s father committed suicide after his son’s death. After that, Kayo brought a gang guy to Kayo’s mother in law’s house to take out all their inheritance money. And Kayo’s mother in law died quickly after as well. That is the fact which has shaken the public awareness in Japan.
Oh one more thing. Kei bullied a classmate, and the boy stopped going to school anymore. He has still been suffered from that.
Do you still want to send your daughter to a mom and son like them? Why did Kei’s dad burn himself to death? Why his grandad committed a suicide? Even his grandma?😱
Where they met was yes the international college. How they met was his “pickup man” way to the imperial family woman? What an unbelievably thick skin guy Kei is.
Why overseas media doesn’t tell the truth but wants to conclude “Japanese traditional way of thinking” Fed up to hear that. No, no, and no!

I am very happy for Princess Mako! I pray much love, happiness, fortune, and wellness for her and her husband!
With that said, it is shameful how she and her husband had been treated the last few years prior to their marriage. So many reports focus on her marrying a commoner as if she is a villain bringing down the Japanese Royal family. She married the man she dated and fell in love with from college, and she has shown class while others have abused and bullied her in the media. Ummm, who else was she to marry her uncle, father, or her brother? Keep in mind there are only 17 members of the royal family and only a handful of them are men!
Lastly, the way she and Meghan Markle have been treated is really telling of the control and abuse that is lobbed on "select" royal women for the sake of "tradition" and/or to protect royal men! Although the above women are in two different situations but the treatment of them by traditionalists, nationalists, tabloids, and social media have been the same. Just to think these angry mobs would have jailed or killed them because they act like they are enemies to the royal family/cultural tradition. Well, I say to hell with traditions that foster abuse and mentally and physically break those they aim to control!

That’s so unfair. Only prince men could marry a commoner woman, but not the princesses can marry a commoner man, if they did, then they’ll loose their royal title. I rmmber hearing their speech, that the princesses can only marry a man with their blood dna that has (Y) dna type, but not marry a commoner man. I feeln think that the dna blood type of (Y🧬) has Notting to do with it, n just marry a man who is truly love with the princess.
Nw hearing this video, it’s so unfair, following the royal rules that men only take the throne, not women, n they have only 1 young prince was born, n they’ll think he definitely will take the throne next in the future.
But I hope n wish the young prince will try to change the new rules, that the princesses can marry a commoner man, n mayb if by any chance that the princess can take the throne next; if something happens to the prince or there r no any prince left in the royal family but full of princesses, then the princess must do something n help take the thronen next, if other princess marry a commoner man, n b part of the royal family member, to help continuing this throne to stay alive n continuing forward years, as long as the Japanese royals is alive. Oh! n also bringing back all princesses; who married their commoner husband, to live their royal family home again n help continuing the throne, n hope their baby’s who is born as a prince, n others born as a princess, should at least has their own royal title too. Incase they get return back to the royal home, n grow more family tree. Rgt nw in this year, those royals r loosing their some family royal member, as shrinking family tree, on the other hand, no wonder Y Queen elizabeth ii’s has much more big family/tree, then japan royal family. Kicking their daughter princesses out of the royal, they r making themselves extinct soon.😔 sorry of my long comment paragraph.

Japanese citizen hates her fiancé Kei Komuro !!! His patronal and maternal parents are committed suiside.
His biological father also committed suiside when he was young. His mother raised Kei Komuro alone after she lost her husband. She worked in cafe in Japan but she received her welfare from dead husband illegally and she borrowed money and owned money from previously man. She provide very expensive private education to her son K Komuro through his life. His mom paid off his expensive education via finance's money . Her decision was wrong.
His mom money scandals are exposed on gossip magazine. Japanese citizen believe that he is not the right man for the royal family. Her mom can not afford to send such expensive school .... Gossip magazine says , Her mom is gold digger !!!
Mako wants to leave the Royal family and gave up everything such as inherit for her love. She wants to live in NY USA
Princes Masako disappeared from public eyes for decades due to her psychological issue and stress .
The royal family should respect more women right and education if they are looking for like Masako.
I don't think Mako's fiancé is the right guy for the Royal family. He comes from too Fxxx up family and his background is too shady. Japanese has gender issues for job opportunity and life . Japanese citizen never accept Mako's life and they force Mako to follow their favor and opinion because she is live under tax payer's money. I think we should respect her life and decision. Her parents accept her marriage when she engaged with K Komuro three years ago.
She turns 30 years old now.... She gave up her marriage ceremony !! Japanese royal family are insane and clue to her.
She fell in love with a wrong man ... she is not going to change her mind for Japanese citizen. She is clear !

To people all over the world,
According to the statistics, 83.7% of the Japanese people oppose this marriage.
Majority of Japanese people are against this dirty marriage.
    There are so many reasons:
Princess Mako's boyfriend Komuro Kei is very strange person.
Lots of wrong-doing and misdeed of Komuro Kei have been revealed for the last 3 years.
We are also very angry at Akishinomiya family (Mako's family).
One of the reasons is that they provide financial support for Komuro Kei to study abroad.
This is against The Constitution of Japan.
Akishinomiya family secretly spends money (tax payers money!) on Komuro Kei.
This is against The Constitution of Japan.
They abuse Imperial family privilege. This is Violation of The Constitution of Japan.
    Komuro Kei always lies.
According to his resume, he received The John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award.
    - - -This is from HP:
    Kei Komuro
    Law Clerk
    Education
Fordham University School of Law (J.D. 2021); JFK Profile in Courage Award; Sweat Equity Award; Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award
Fordham University School of Law (LL.M. 2019), cum laude
Hitotsubashi University Graduate School (M.B.L. 2018)
    International Christian University (B.L.A. 2014); Dean’s List
    - - -
    However,
the AWARD RECIPIENTS are famous politicians such as,
Mitt Romney (2021), Nancy Pelosi (2019), Mitch Landrieu (2018),
Barack H. Obama (2017), Dannel Malloy (2016), Bob Inglis (2015),
    Paul W. Bridges (2014), George H.W. Bush (2014) ...
As you can see, Komuro Kei always lies.
Komuro Kei is not only liar, but also very strange. He always records voice (he uses voice-recording to insist that he and his mother do not need to pay back money which ex-fiance of his mother kindly lent them ).
Komuro Kayo is also suspected of criminal wrongdoing.
Komuro Kei and his mother borrowed money (JP 4,000,000 Yen) from his mother's ex-fiance, but they never return the money.
    &
    fraudulent receipt of pension
    and so on...
Komuro Kei likes using recording device.
Therefore, some Japanese people presume that Komuro Kei recorded some secrets regarding Mako's family and even Imperial family.
That is one of the reasons why Japanese authorities cannot eliminate Komuro Kei.
Many people suspect, Japanese authority is afraid that Komuro Kei reveals such secrets of Imperial family.
We know that Komuro Kei is cunning enough to do so.
(If he was refused to get married to Mako.)
Komuro Kei does not choose the means to achieve his ambition.
We believe that taxpayers' money should not be used for such abnormal marriage and suspicious people (Komuro Kei and his mother).
We think that taxpayers' money should not be used for the Akishinomiya family as well.
Akishinomiya family members do not appreciate taxpayers' money and spend money as much as they want.
We want to say "Don't waste tax!"
    In addition,
it is said that Komuro Kei's mother has a close relationship with antisocial group of people (mafia, yakuza).
Her brother is a member of mafia (yakuza).
    This is so problematic.
    Another thing is,
we suspect that Mako may be brainwashed by the Cult (religious cult).
    Speaking of crimes,
Did Komuro Kei enter Fordham University by legitimate means?
Was he eligible to be accepted by Fordham University?
Was he eligible to receive scholarships and grants at Fordham University?
If not, isn't "backdoor admission" illegal in the USA?
To the people of the USA, please investigate concerning the "Backdoor admission" of Komuro.
Komuro and the Akishinomiya family should not steal scholarship opportunity from Law School students of Fordham University.
    That's unfair.
However, we do not know what was going on exactly.
Therefore, please closely investigate this issue.
    Please investigate these suspicious circumstances.
Arrest Komuro Kei, if found to be guilty.
We want the USA to investigate this matter, because Japanese authorities never conduct an investigation into this issue, even though we ask them to do so.
Some people launched a country-wide campaign for collecting signatures.
Yet, Imperial Household Agency even refused to receive the signatures!
    Demonstration is now taking place.
    They are saying:
    STOP WASTING taxpayer MONEY!
    Establish an ombudsman!
We demand an audit! accountant's inspection!
    Don't launder money!
STOP DIRTY marriage! Disgusting, Komuro Kei!
DO NOT USE Imperial family privilege!
    LISTEN to the public voices!
    Respect the people!
    Sovereignty lies with the people!
One journalist already sued Komuro Kayo (Kei's mother) on her illegal receipt of pension, and so on.
(Not only illegal misconducts, but also in many respects, she is very suspicious.)
Please try to understand the reasons why the majority of Japanese people oppose to this marriage.
And please, tell this to the all of the World, because Japanese mass media is manipulated and never tells the truth.
Japanese mass media ignore and even suppress the people's opinion.
Japanese government and its authorities control mass media to deceive us (Japanese people) and
attempt to produce a festive mood.
Yet, we, the people of Japan, are not stupid!
Never even think that we are stupid enough to be deceived so easily!
This is no less than Suppression of speech.
    However,
    We seek for justice.
    We never get silenced.
Thank you very much for reading.
    Best regards,

I agree on that Only Male should take Japanese Crown as it is Ceremonially Ruled by an Emperor and If there is a Empress who is Not a Wife of Emperor there would be No Emperor and that's now how Japanese Era works
But I do Disagree that Female Members should Lose their Royal Status and their Children's are Commoners when Male Members marry Commoners and Nothing happen that's just sad . Rather the System should be Princess shouldn't lose titles but also shouldn't succeed the Crown rather if She had a Son Her Son also should be a Candidate for it

As far as I understand, Kayo has committed insurance fraud on multiple occasions. In my opinion, it is a bad influence on Kei and Mako (by extension the Imperial Family as well).

@@tomokof I love the Imperial family, and I genuinely wish the best for Kei and Mako.
I have mixed feelings about how the Imperial Family may be associated with a criminal because of Kayo’s (Kei’s mother’s) actions. What is wrong with having this concern?

    • @sallyi929
      @sallyi929 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@tomokof That’s a fair point, and indeed, I don’t know Mako on a personal level.
However, I think the issue is a little deeper. Mako being born into the Imperial Family is destiny, and unfortunately, no one can change that. And, it’s also sad to say that the media will follow her forever.
With that aside, the point I’m trying to drive is not really about Mako and Kei’s marriage but has to do with Kei’s mother and what influence she can bring to their relationship.
      Think of it this way:
Say you have someone very close to you marry someone whose mother has been committing insurance fraud over several years.
There are a few questions to ask here:
      1. How much of the mother’s actions influenced the fiancé’s upbringing?
      2. How much of that influence will be brought into the relationship?
      3. How much of this will affect the extended family’s dynamic?
↑ This would and should be a concern for any family. Whether I know someone or not, I wouldn’t want anything horrible happening in anyone’s relationship (including Mako)

    • @sallyi929
      @sallyi929 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@tomokof It’s not gossip. The Komuro Family’s record is a fact, and that’s what’s making Mako’s life hell. She indeed opened her life to crime, and some people are nervous for her as a result.
I think it’s fair for anyone to hope for the best in someone’s life and show concern when it’s called for. Both of us are hoping for the best in our different ways.
Now, I agree, Mako’s decision is ultimately her responsibility. And I genuinely hope she takes agency for her decision when she finds out she made a mistake.

Princess Mako made a terrible decision. I'm surprised the emperor didn't send ninja assassins to behead the playboy heart robber & bring the princess back to the royal palace.
