There processing that goes into the product such as aging, slicing, milk is pasteurized, etc. Commercial sources have a different production method in many ways. Also farmers might not even be processing the products further. It could go to another company who buys the product itself such as eggs and then packages it, distributes it, etc. So farmer doesn't prepare, slice, package, distribute, etc. The producing company isn't going to buy the initial product and produce it for free either. Everyone says someone should help or do x when it requires they themselves do nothing. Why weren't you putting in your time, effort, finances, etc to help charities when this was going on? Why does this fall on others? You simply pointing a finger saying others should do x and not taking any action yourself accomplishes nothing. If you truly want something to get done start trying to do it instead of pushing the blame on others and having excuses why it has nothing to do with you.
