Cutting away from action to show people reacting to the action is the scourge of sports at the moment. Secondly: I concur with the others: Plunger won this one easily, it lifted the pumpkin a few times, slammed it into the wall at speed, ripped off the stupid decorational pumpkin and actually has a weapon worth a damn, unlike a wedge in disguise like it's opponent. Robots with actual non-flamethrower weapons should be given +10 extra points in the judging scoreline otherwise handing fights like this to wedges is just going to make everyone build wedges then robogames will be more flooded with wedges than it already is and people will get bored and find something else to do with their event attending money or youtube watching clicking.
Once the pumpkin was knocked off the EvilPlunger could drive over Great Pumpkin easily. So I would have tried to drive over him in reverse, then the lifting weapon would have been at his rear, in position to slam into forward gear and lift Great Pumpkin.
