you all probably dont care at all but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
I like Sam's reaction and comments of this Morissette's rendition, he just used the exact words to describe it. 👍He knows what he's talking about👍 cool, thanks for sharing.
What I love while watching your reaction is that you shared something which regular person like me who only love the song because on how the artist sang it . You gave some learning points as well Kudos From the Philippines here 😍
Hi coach, welcome to the world of Morissette :) I Love your reaction, you got a like and a subscribe from me. You’re right, Morissette is in her early 20’s. 22 to be exact. Can’t wait to hear her voice when she’s 30 :D I would also love to see you react to her Concert finale song “And I am telling you” she sang this song after 20+ songs. More power! ^_^
Subscribed because of Morissette. She is incredibly talented and unique. I've never seen anything like her in my whole life. Every song she covers, she amazingly manages to make it her known yet I truly believe that no one can take away from Morissette her originals Akin Ka Na Lang and Diamante no matter who covers those. Compare Morissette to the greats and will definitely be right up there. I have no doubt that she will become an international star on a global scale soon.
Welcome to the world of Morissette. Expect your subscribers to double and triple in numbers pretty soon. She has a huge fan base and set to hit the international stage this year. You need to listen to one of her originals " akin ka na lang"
Welcome to the world of the Philippine Music scene. Brace yourself for an incredibly wide and diverse range of these yonge singers. As for the sitting ... well again, welcome to the world of the Philippine Music scene where sitting and live performances are standard.
Great singers from the Phillipines! I've heard that there isn't a lot to do there so people sing. I don't know if that is true or not, but the country turns out some great singers.
It would great if for once these so called vocal coaches would really listen and not try to out sing the talent or to critique after only a few bars. I've heard enough.
Now you discovered the world of Filipinos.. Pure, rich talents in singing.. You will be amazed how good & awesome they are.. Be ready to be surprised. Morissete amon is one of our very best.. The Phoenix of Asia 🇵🇭👍
Morissette Amon aka "Asia's Phoenix" from the Philippines (Lyric Soprano) is known for a vocal range that spans 5 octaves and 7 notes Currently she has 5.7 octaves and an extensive connected range, allowing her to transition into other registers smoothly. Capable of riffs and runs throughout the voice and holding notes without wavering, her skills suggests good breath control, having reverb, having "Growl" to show passion & inner emotions to the song, vocal fry, Melisma, Crescendos, Amazing Vibrato, Crisp Dynamics, Slide and Sustain, Modulation, Disconnect and overall technique. Known for her "squeaks" and intentional vocal breaks, applies them both when jumping between octaves for artistic effect . She can do BALLAD, POP, RAP, ROCK. She can SING & DANCE at the same time...!
Another vocal coach who knows his stuff, yay! Subscribed! I really enjoyed your analysis, she's amazing. Another voice you should know but probably don't- Lara Fabian. Multi-lingual, multi-genre, the "songwriter with a voice". She has technique and breath control that are mind-blowing and is known for her powerful resonance. But even more than all that, she cuts through to your soul even when you don't understand the language. Dimash is hugely inspired by her and learned a lot of his emoting ability from her and has covered several of her songs. Her concert From Lara With Love is a master class in, well, everything. I recommend either Adagio (which she wrote an English version and an Italian version) or You're Not From Here. And her cover of Je Suis Malade is heart wrenching.
Thank you for reacting to our Filipino singers♥️I hope one day the world will see how talented they are😊 from PHILIPPINES🇵🇭🇵🇭 where 8 out of 10 are singers but sorry to tell you that I belong to those 2%😂😂😝😝
She's a great singer , she deserves more than everything she has 💜 I feel like she is a little underrated here in the Philippines , Morisette and lot more great Filipino singers deserves more recognition both inside and outside the Philippines , they are the real Filipino pride 🇵🇭 not those who only have pretty faces and are trying hard on being a singer but receives more recognition 🙄
i love your video...you didn't just leave comments and reactions but also show your viewers a sneak peek of your own talent. i wish you'll gain more subscribers in the future 😊😊😊
She just turned 23 yesterday (June 2, 2019). Thank you for your reaction.. you may also enjoy her rendition of rise up and her original single "Akin ka na lang" which meant please be mine.. again, thank you and more power..
lovely reaction..more mori reaction cover and her own song ...I tell you.. you‘ll never disappoint..shes amazing singer and shes out of this world artist😍😍
Hi coach, she's Asia's Phoenix! Aside from her, we had have also another Wonderwoman-like singer here in Phillippines. Her name is Katrina Velarde, react to her cover "Go the Distance". Lots of vocal coaches love her as much as Mori have. She's a vocal athlete and you will not regret reacting to her cover. I hope you reading this, thanks.
Uch okay, my bad...😅 There was just this close resemblance of accent. I have just realized the scottish slang, aye i was a wee bit inattentive of those small details, hahaha...😂 I just subbed, looking forward to those videos, keep it up...👍
Kairiseph McLeod Don’t worry about it! I don’t mind when people think I’m Irish, it’s a lovely accent, and shared many many shades with Scottish too! Thank you so much for subscribing!
Her voice is actually a little tired during that performance. She had a concert prior to that and still sang 3 songs (Never Enough, Panaginip her original, Naririnig Mo Ba another original) beautifully. More of her pls! 😊
She's amazing, because She's a Versatile Talented Vocal Artist and Great Performer, here in the Philippines. She can sing all different Genres, like ballad, pop, rap, rock, opera, and also Disney song. That's why she's really amazing. And many people love her. Because she is humble too and nice person. 👍👍 . . . . . Anyway, can you react to Morissette's "Rise Up" on Wish Bus 107.5 Thanks 👍
It's okay. I was living under a rock as well, and I literally just discovered Dimash just last week, like the week before Christmas, and Morissette around the same time. I've been obsessed with Dimash ever since. But speaking about Morissette, she did a fantastic job with this song, and I love how she personalizes this song and has that embellishment in the end. I love her vocal dynamics as well, and personally I love how she doesn't do that stylistic crack at the end of the chorus lines, and she incorporates it in other areas. She's got great mouth posture as well and resonates the sound farther in the back of her mouth, which gives her that darker color that you hear in the original. But you're right that she's got that really dark quality. It's darker than original, but it works very well with her interpretation.
Great reaction, she turns 23 on June 2nd. One of the best singer of this generation. You will fall in love with this young lady. I've been to 3 concerts here in California when she's touring, she's amazing and beautiful and so humble. Keep reacting to her and you will be addicted. You obviously know what your talking about and have a great ear for singing. Listen to her original song "Akin ka na lang" use closed caption its in Tagalog (filipino language) 84 million views and "Secret love song" by Little Mix a cover with 105 million views both on the Wish bus 107.5. Again thanks for reacting
Omg you just entered the world of morissette! 😍 you should react to her " rise up" on wish 107.5 bus and her stone cold 😊 new subs. Here from the philippines 😊😊
Tnx Sam for appreciating the Pilipino Amazing Morissette's talents. BTW, all the singers on the WishBus are singing while sitting and you're amazed by it 'coz it's really hard, how much more if they are standing.LOL. Pilipinos are used to sing while sitting because in the Philippines they are used to sing on Videoke (Karaoke) which you'll find in many households and in almost every nook and cranny of the country. Videoke is the best way Pilipino practice their God given talent without the help of Vocal Coaches, since it's costly to hire one. Tnx again.
Hi from the Philippines! Thank you for reacting Morissette Amon's covered song Never Enough.. She is a versatile talented person and I am one of her fans here.. anyways that was amazing.. try another reaction for her thank you
Like several others are suggesting, Sam, you haven't heard all of this "wee powerhouse", yet! "Akin Ka Nalang", her huge hit in Asia, will cement a full understanding of her vocal gift. Watch her right hand, about half way through the song--she has access to the reverb effect and will twist a knob all the way to "max", plastering you to the back of your chair! Then, on to "The Queen" (of the mixed register), Kim Sohyang, of S. Korea. Here are the links: Morisette - th-cam.com/video/p2FXQgtmPDw/w-d-xo.html Sohyang - th-cam.com/video/C6iHh4yBxCo/w-d-xo.html (Bridge Over Troubled Water) AND the Westlife hit, "You Raise Me Up" (rearranged like you've never heard before!) th-cam.com/video/te_L9ofhUt8/w-d-xo.html You'll probably need an oxygen tank handy, after each one, Laddie, and a sling! (If the Korean Broadcasting System blocks your uploads of Sohyang, try to find videos of these songs in non-KBS uploads--but, the KBS videos are the epic performances, and with the commentary interruptions you insert into your reactions, your upload should pass right through. Fingers crossed--oh, and have the sling under your jaw, to keep it from hitting the floor!)
OH wow I'm to late for this channel"another Vocal Coach Sam Scott-thorne from england/yeah coz of ur idol Morissette Amon' Here i am ur new subscriber/ Yes she is so Amazing'her voice is not in this world she is from new planet of Phoenix/Thank U for this beautiful singer!!!!!!!!
Hi, new subscriber here👍. Never get enough of this song and I ❤️ Morissette. Tnx for reacting to Filipino talent. Expecting more reactions of her from your channel. Some of Filipino singers u might want to react to: Katrina Velarde Darren Espanto 4th Impact KZ Tandingan. ❤️🇵🇭😊
Goosebumps! Morissette is definitely one of the best singers in the world today. Awesome reaction. Thanks. ☺👍. Subbed and best wishes to your channel. P.S. Please check her Rise Up and Akin Ka Na Lang on Wish 107.5fm. Absolutely stunning performances.
I really love to watch reactions coming from vocal coach/teachers /singers as I learn a lot and understand better technicalities when it comes to singing etc. Not to mention about ur quite good reactions. Looking to see and hear more of ur reactions on Morissette (Asia's Phoenix) from her covers and original song. Please do react as well on her cover on "Rise Up" and her original song "Akin ka nalang". New subscriber here though! ☺
You really are a good vocal coach. We have same impressions with her. I heared this cover a thousand times so i've been waiting here my favs and you all noticed it!. Btw new subscriber here
Some singers do vowel changes because it's actually easier to hit the note, having that wider vowel and bigger mouth. In Morrisette's case, I think it's because she is following the original. I think this is written to hit the top of Loren's range (the original singer). Based on what we can hear with her vibrato and strength, the vowel shift is a stylistic pickup from the original. My thought is that Loren changed the vowel so that she can belt these notes out. The way she belts it has this emphatic effect, so it goes well with the vowel shift from an artistic perspective. There's a vocal coach that mentioned something similar about Idina Menzel, because she's also known for shifting vowels, and Idina doesn't have a very high belting range, so the vowel shift helps her hit the top more easily (The vocal coach mentioned this when comparing Into the Unknown by Idina Menzel in comparison to Brendon Urie, who sings with pure vowels) . The vowel shift thing seems to be something common in people who are trained in some type of musical theater. I do agree that sometimes it's to improve the sound, but I think it's because Loren can't hit the note the same way with a pure vowel. I watched her live performance, and it was fantastic, but you can see that if the song were any higher, she'd struggle with the notes. I'm sure that Morissette can hit those notes with pure vowels, but as tribute to the original, she kept the pronunciation. In other cases, I've heard vowel changes to give it that empathic edge, like Jodi Benson in Part of Your World. Jodi really rounds out the her high vowels and gives it such strong resonance to convey her emotions. Lea Salonga does this as well in Reflection from Mulan. Obviously those notes are in her range, so it's an artistic emphatic choice. As for the sound, in opera they open their mouths more to create a more pleasant resonance, and this applies to the E sound especially. Notice your mouth was very tight, cause we're used to that when we're speaking. When you sing E sounds in higher notes, it helps to open your jaw more so that the sound can resonate with a fuller sound. This is something I've noticed as well from my experience experimenting with voice acting and singing techniques.
Yes you can hear natural sounds without any effects or filters all raw, well thats the purpose of this Radio station mobile 'Wish Bus' 107.5 running for few years now, thanks for sharing
Very much nodding along with the surprisingly mature-voice-for-the-young-age thing here. Her version of Andra Day's "Rise Up" from the Wish bus is *quite* lovely. That song is a bit of an "I'm not crying.... you're crying" moment for me to start with, & she does it justice- effortless range, cries & growls in just the right places. Fun fact fyi: Jessie J handed her a mic at one of her gigs years back: th-cam.com/video/Y-hYmEPfVBc/w-d-xo.html ....but bear in mind she was a bit of a child prodigy. I think she got runner-up on a TV talent show when she was still 14, so no surprises she killed it at that JJ gig! ;)
Thanks for reacting to morissette,we have a lot of world class singer here in the Philippines, By the way I love the plants in the background,we also have it here
Aside from being a good vocal coach, you are also a good looking guy, most people here in the Philippines knows how to sing, we're also have good in communication skills in English

Tnx again.
Hey Chatt! Thank you for the information! Very interesting!
Nice reactions, singers would really learn from your insights.... thank you...
Thank you! That's very kind of you to say!

Man, you gotta check her covers, it’s onna blow your mind.. welcome to a nice ride ☺️
You are the only one said that her voice is mature for herself... like your reaction! Thanks!
Korea. Here are the links:
Morisette - th-cam.com/video/p2FXQgtmPDw/w-d-xo.html
Sohyang - th-cam.com/video/C6iHh4yBxCo/w-d-xo.html (Bridge Over Troubled Water) AND the Westlife hit, "You Raise Me Up" (rearranged like you've never heard before!) th-cam.com/video/te_L9ofhUt8/w-d-xo.html
You'll probably need an oxygen tank handy, after each one, Laddie, and a sling!

The WishBus video of "Akin Ka Na Lang" is definitely a Morisette must-see!
Yes you can hear natural sounds without any effects or filters all raw, well thats the purpose of this Radio station mobile 'Wish Bus' 107.5 running for few years now, thanks for sharing
New subscriber here from philippines... Enjoy our Pinoy and pinay singers... God Bless you always...
Fun fact fyi: Jessie J handed her a mic at one of her gigs years back: th-cam.com/video/Y-hYmEPfVBc/w-d-xo.html
....but bear in mind she was a bit of a child prodigy. I think she got runner-up on a TV talent show when she was still 14, so no surprises she killed it at that JJ gig! ;)
