Man....wow! The memories, seemed like a lifetime ago. Life for me was innocent I guess ignorance wss bliss. To quote the phrase if I knew then what I know now....of course being a child in the single digits during the 1970s Saturday morning cartoons, Schwinn muscle bikes, no computers or cell phones. Playing outside then watching TV, we thought we had hit the big time when we got a 19 inch color Quasar wow! Going out to eat was going to Burger Chef, McDonald's, Burger King, and it happen 1 to 2 times a month and I got to drink a Coke a cola and was a real treat! I played with toys and used my imagination no battery where the toy can play by itself today. What a great time and then becoming a teen in the 1980s. The radio and music was the soundtrack of my life always growing up and memories being made. Sadly time marches on and the only constant that there is changes every day.......
The only celebs I see are Sid Caesar, Farrah Fawcett, and William Christopher, who played Father Mulcahey on MASH. I know DD and looked up Bill M. and neither of them are in this video nor is RR.
I have a 71' red Mach One. Sitting next to my wife's new Mustang. The new Mustang is bigger than the Mach One. Crowds often form around my Mach One, they are almost all gone.
@@TheBandit7613 --That is amazing. I remember how big those Machs were. Today's designs don't look as big in my mind's eye. I guess my memory has increased the size of that old Mustang much like the fish that the fisherman caught. Thank you! 😉

my moms first one was a 67 convertible bronze with spinner caps 289 hi PO c6 auto with the checkered flag interior ..she paid almost 3900 bucks brand new because of all the extras she ordered. her old car was a fairlane gt 4 speed .. before she passed we took her last mustang daily driver mach 1, 4 speed to the last day motor city drag way was open and her car run almost 13 seconds flat in the 1/4 with my husband driving .. she drove that car to work each day winter summer and all until she was 70.. got to love a 70 y/o gal driving a 13 second 302 boss 4 speed to work every day... she was a handful.. rip pearly
These last 1st gen beasts are the reason that there had to be a mustang 2. I have driven a couple and they are real sloppy dogs. Mustang 2 was a fun handling and its last 2 years quick little car. I still have a 3ed gen 1983 GT 302 4bbl 5speed a few basic goodies and it can eat these big tuna cans for lunch, I can spank them. Sad really cause I had a 65 which was fun to drive and a 68 also.
Lots of folks hate the Mustang II for being the ugliest. No. It was this monstrosity. Just chop the front end off... square and jam the headlights in. One of the ugliest Ford cars of the last 50 years
I bought the same exact brown mustang as my fist car when I was 16 years old for $400. I’ll never forget how cool that car was.
That car is the gayest car on the road
I still believe that the 71-73 fastback looks as new as tomorrow.

Sid Caesar, Farrah Fawcett & the priest from MASH, William Christopher then some unknown slobs lol.
1971 Ford Mustang commercials have Sid Caesar, including David Doyle, Robert Redford, Bill McCutcheon, and a very sexy Farrah Fawcett.

I have a 72 model coupe that I bought the day before Thanksgiving 1971 that is very much like the one in the Farrah Fawcett commercial.
1murder99 is good I like this design better than 1969-1970 mustang
@@AlejandroP1980s 69s are my favorite but I was in Vietnam that year and couldn't buy one.
I still have a 72 convertible been a really good car just take it out once in a while
“Thats nice...but thats a better” LOL, you’d never see that in a modern commercial.
PC killed America's sense of humor!

I might found a 1971 Shelby europa mustang
I thought that Mach I design was the biggest Mustang of all! The current design is even longer??!!😲
@@marka1422 it makes my car look small.

Sid Cesar at his best
LOVE it. Thanks!
That loooong phallic hood!
The interior was beautiful!
Farrah Fawcett at 2:05
Father Mulcahy and Farrah Fawcett in before they hit it big
How could anyone miss Farrah lord knows she did lots of car ads among others.
she sounded stoned even back then...
Seems so odd to see him in anything but wire rimmed glasses and olive drab fatigues...

In the second Ford Mustang ad was the Cpl. ftom "Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C."
Right! Roy Stuart, who played Cpl. Boyle.
Aparece Farrah Fawcett en este comercial que bien. El Mustang siempre ha sido uno de mis autos favoritos
Young Farrah Fawcett
Was she beautiful
so Mel Brookes got a free car ..i hope it was a silver mach 1 like that one they are very rare..
they had 302,,351,,and 428 ,,
I think that is Sid Ceasar
@@trentkehoe1322 may be right its been years since i saw either of them
Mama Mia, thisa car, she's-a bellisimo! It's-a me, Mario! Linguini amore Mussolini cappuccino!!
thought the mach 1 only came with the 351 428 and 429. pretty sure no 302's
Nope, the base engine in the Mach was a 2-barrel 302, and the 428 was gone after 1970.
wow, some famous folks in these commercial.....no clue who the last guy was....but otherwise....big names.
I only see three: Sid Caesar, Farrah Fawcett, and William Christopher. I think all the others are just stage/character actors for commercials.
Real cars then
No compré ninguno, pero los vi pasar.!!!
Comedian Charlie Callas in the first two commercials.
Sid Ceasar
you already posted theses videos under another title?
