ATTENTION: after further analysis with Waterloo University we have discovered that SKW cables are not made with OCC copper. All the details here: th-cam.com/video/XVLR9EuCkgo/w-d-xo.html The sonics remain excellent for the price but the materials are different from what believed
These are cheap, Chinese knockoffs that sell for $15 wholesale, as are all of SKW's cables. Many brands are like this... Audiocrast, Viborg, SKW, Nakamichi, etc. They are all made of low grade copper and ultra cheap materials. They all advertise they use "6N grade copper" which is total BS.
Amazing that so many people are stuck on China, yet clearly haven't looked at where their own stuff is made, or have a problem shopping at Wal-Mart. I purchased the same 3 meter speaker cable from the review for my front 3 theater speakers and the 2 Atmos channels built into my towers, as well as SKW's HDMI 2.1 cables for my interconnects, about 3weeks ago. Replaced some old Monster Cable from years back. I'm currently running a Yamaha Aventage A4A and Definitive Technologies BP 9080x series all the way around. Noticeable difference across all metrics. Imaging, soundstage, clarity, detail, bass depth, all were enhanced. It did take about 2 weeks for them to settle, once they did, even non-audiophiles noticed the difference immediately. I don't have any technical data to back up anything, but your ears don't lie. These sound good. Had to adjust speaker levels after switching. For $150/pair, best investment. They have a set of silver plated speaker/RCA cables, but I wasn't trying to spend $450/pair.
I’ve always been apprehensive about trying pricy speaker cables and always resisted doing so, but when I saw this video and heard the price I thought, if I’m ever going to try it cables this way he the way to go ,so I Took the leap so to speak and have had them in my system for Almost a full week now and I have to say, I’m enjoying the hell out of them and don’t regret the purchase one bit! Thank you sir for making this video!
LOL have been using these for 2 months now. originally bought it for its looks (high end), though the specifics of the cables and its price made a huge part in chosing them. and yes they are absolutely fabolous
I use SKW power cords, they are fantastic! I was a huge power cord skeptic. I had other power cords that did nothing! The SKW power cords improved the soundstage depth and height quite a bit. They make good products. I will be keeping the power cords.
Pretty much on the basis of this video (as there are not any other real reviews of these cables), I tried them with my Rotel amp/B&W front speakers. They were a MAJOR improvement from my old bulk cables from the store, right out of the box (without a “break-in” period, if that is real or not). I liked them so much that I bought a second pair for the second pair of speakers. The system has for sure had a major upgrade, and for a modest outlay of money! I would describe the sound as clear and precise, but silkier, smoother, with warmth and depth - what I like! Thank you for the great tip! 😀
I was think that this cables will not be better to my Kimber PR8, but I was completely wrong. When they come to my country I need to wait about one month to get it and pay taxes 55$. The sound is incredible! Everything is smoother with more air cleaner and clearer. Finally to my ears voice is true to life and in my opinion my kimber did couldn't accomplish that. Hats off my friend for your video for this cables. Big thank you from my heart and wish you all the best.
Kablovima sam prezadovoljan i do daljnjega ostaju u sustavu. 👋

Thanks for sharing this, ordered and received them a couple of days later and I have to admit never thought this would have such an influence on the sound experience.
found out about these a little late, but got a pair today. So damn impressed about the build quality for the price! looks and feels like cables for 1000 usd. No diffrence
Hi, after watching your video I bought OCC Copper for my Speaker Cable & Interconnect,,, man it beats my 10X more costly Branded Copper Silver Coated speaker cable flat. Basically it allows much more information to flow thru the cable and I am hearing details which was never present before.. A million Thanks
Thanks to this review I got to know SKW and today I have just received my order of a full set of copper OCC cables (speaker cables, RCA & USB). I have just replaced my existing Belden Gold USB with SKW BG-012 (Copper OCC) and the initial impression is very positive. Straight off, I can hear piano notes sound more 3 dimensional. Will replace the RCA this weekend and subsequently the speaker cables.
sorry buddy you got scammed the Chinese don't have OCC single Crystal, do you honestly think you can buy two and a half meters speaker wire OCC single Crystal for $120 LOL give your head a shake.
@@xllms maybe you should do your research yourself and here's a little bit of information that I didn't bother to tell anybody I used to rep for Harmonic technology so the owner was a good friend of mine and I know where everything is coming from that is OCC.
Thank you for your recommendation, at first cables are a little harsh can be due to my horn speakers. But man after a 3 weeks to a month MAGIC does happen. For the price you can't go wrong my system has all skw rca and speaker cables very happy 😀
I have bought these speaker cables about a month ago...the first days the sound was a little weird..they needed some time about a week to be ready....Now...I enjoy them....every single time I play something in my system....very pleasant open sound full of dynamics and finesse....I am so happy with them! I also have taken the interconnects of the same company...they also are incredible! Thank you Anadialog!
I bought 4 of these cables. Brothers THESE Cables r like small garden snake thick. They r no joke. I mean thick to the point where they can't get tangled THEY CAN'T 🤣. Great
Sound good out the box, bass improvement is what I noticed over current cables? . I will try for 3 weeks.. Did you hear much improvement over time? Thanks
The Ramm audio day and night after 10 days, this one I would say a good improvement but not dramatic. Just make sure not to move them around. Otherwise you start over. I know it sound absurd but that is what I have noticed.
I was going to upgrade speakers, but I'll just buy these instead. Way cheaper to change the sound of my system with budget speaker cables. 😵💫 Gimme some more of that Kool aid!
Believe or not you the only one you review this cable on youtube , i own this cable and the USB and they sound great !!! Like them very much , but i also have others manufactured cable and they all have they pro and con w unfortunately no cable is perfect.
What a contentious subject. I’ll say these cables look well constructed and have good connectors. Compared to other custom cables they are inexpensive. I’d also like to add that I’m watching from the US and just heard you originate in Italy. I think you’re English is outstanding.
I spent nearly £1000 on cables and for me the experience of not having to put up with those bloody radio frequency sounds was so well worth it, in fact I've kept my old speaker cables in place so I'm able to show my friends the difference in sound quality (interference) and to be fair nearly all of friends can't pick out the difference, that is until I point it out to them! The thing is I had been putting up with radio frequencies/electric magnetic interference for the first couple of years only because I wasn't quite sure what it was, the point iam trying to make... it was only after was able to differentiate between mechanical noise and radio frequencies that I finally was able to move forward and sort this problem out! They do say audio is subjective therefore some people are able to pick up on radio frequencies and some people are not, so if you're one of these fortunate Souls who don't pick up on radio frequencies just count yourself lucky!
Ok, I have a 1961 Harman Kardon 1&2 and A&B, I am having the Citation 2 amp restored with "Jim McShane Kit". I an using Altec Lansing C40 Harkness. With my Dads AR-XA Shure. Not my Lynn LP-12. I am going to us the Gold cables. I need something right now and they look ok. My dad built these back then and felt honored when my dad let you pick up the needle and change the record side. You seen pretty sure on this. What do you think of my Dads Gear in 1961. and people ask you what there system sounds like when I grow up with the best. I will video system when done in the end of January.
Nice speaker cables. I myself use Siltech a special speaker cable and very expensive. I have 5 other brand speakers and I have to say that all 6 do their job well. But the topper in my High-end equipment is the Siltech the best. Not because they are the most expensive speaker cables, but because the MATCH is simply the best MATCH with the Siltech. Thank you for this video. Peace and love and of course High-end and Music was born Analog... ✌😘👌👍😉
hello anadialog , I finally got this famous 3 meter occ cable. And wow, what a slap, it's a killing. I rediscovered the sound of my jbl ti 250 jubilee thanks to your advice. what sound opening, increased precision in the medium, controlled bass. For my part, I use the spade connections from my power amp to go to the speakers by the banana connections, then finally a oehlbach jump! straps to inter connect the 2 terminal blocks. A great thanks !!!!!!
Good question, what these lack is good insulation. The Ramm ones I cite have polyethylene, which is goof but not as good as teflon and the insulation is almost as important as the conductors and connectors. I am probably going for the Neotech Nei but they are much more expensive...if you find occ copper with teflon dielectric at a decent price please tell me and I will test them!
hey Mark you got scammed, that's not OCC single crystal wire sorry, you can't get single crystal wire for that cheap and the Chinese sure don't have it or the machinery to make it.
Wondering if you tried there RCA cables? Do you know who’s quality is better SKW OCC or Oyaide purple cable. I bought purple Oyaide cables And the SKW OCC speaker cable. Thank you Roger
@@anadialog I decide to try the SKW interconnect to be honest they work better in my system than the Oyaide cables. Oyaide was very nice but just a little harsh or bright the SKW was not harsh at all I have same detail and center stage and the bass seems a little warmer and for the price is unbelievable. I’m going to try to sell my oyaide cables I’ll take the hit on the price but will by more SKW. I have speaker cable preamp to amplifier interconnect and from my source. I plan on changing all my cables to SKW. Thank you for the review. I enjoy your you tube channel!! Roger
Hi. Watching ur video really trigger me to try out. Before i order i would like to have ur opinion whether it will match my setup. Currently am using nordost flat line speaker cable hook up with quad s2. Am using preamp tube 27 and solid state ampilifier. Currently my “complaint” on my setup is soundstage and high notes. Will this skw cable match my system ?
sorry angry girl China doesn't have OCC single Crystal there's only two companies in the world that have the licensing from Ohno, that's furukawa in Japan and Wan Lung in Taiwan and you can't buy OCC single Crystal for those cheap prices that's the first giveaway that it's a knockoff phony.
I have a Marantz 2230B and ordered the cable and pin connectors. The linc for the UK and Italy are correct but the linc for the US is not. That connector is for a bare wire. Love the cable. Waiting for new pin connectors. Appreciate all the information you provide.
Thank you so much; I enjoy your channel and decided to trust your recommendations...wow! I love these cables. the beauty, the functionality and the flawless sound is the best. Buy-buy Kimber and your horrific cable cost. I have three systems and I am changing out all their cables to OCC interconnects and speaker cables from SKW. While I still think that people put too much value on cables (diminishing performance), these cable/interconnects strike the perfect balance. My search is over! Thank you again.
Can you please explain how the speaker cable need to "burn" in for the sound? What does the cable do so you get an other soundfield from your speakers if you let them burn in?Maybe in depth on how the structure of the copper does this when applied to power. And how much power is put out of your amp to your speakers...........
Burn-in mainly takes place with the dielectrics (insulation) of the cables. Also, cables should not be moved. When moved things change again. Based on the power strength you probably obtain different periods of burn in. In any case I would say you need at least 40hrs.
@@anadialog Hi there..enjoy your videos. Regarding OCC copper and silver cables, Audio Sensibility from Canada offers excellent OCC cables. All my speaker, interconnects, power and phono cables are from Audio Sensibility. The owner Steve's father worked with Prof. Ohno and was a friend. Why buy from Amazon when you cannot possibly authenticate the materials used? Audio Sensibility sources directly from only 3 distributors authorized in the world to produce OCC cables. Why make that extra billion for Jeff at Amazon? :)
Hi, I bought them end my impression is an enhanced low frequency and an emproved stage, more center and with good separation between the instruments but the meed range is quite laid back and the high frequency is not so bright resulting in a muddy sound signature! Overall a good quality construction still a good buy in my opinion i hope someone can share their impressions as well...peace! Update: after the burn in things are better meed range is still a bit laid back.
well that doesn't sound like very good OCC single crystal wire to me because that doesn't happen with OCC single crystal wire. no muddy sound with properly designed OCC single crystal wire.
THANK YOU. Great review.. an honest company with an honest price... i saw another very good video about the difference between Silver and Copper Cables (as you know the price of Silver Cable is astronomical). he explained that the % conductivity of Silver is 105 , and the Copper is 100 . is it worth paying so much more $$$$$ for the extra 5% ??! . i don't think so IMO of course.. i'm also gonna check out the RAMM Audio Cables. (do you have your own review about RAMM ?). thanks again for your inputs.
Thank you for the video and Kind Regards. I purchased SKW speaker and interconnect cables per your recommendation and am happy with the result except for the problem I wish seek advice for namely the interconnect cables from the CD player to the amplifier I could only part way install because of a tight fit and as the shell of the SKW RCA connector is tapered without a blunt end so there is nothing to press against with the result that the tight fit would not completely be pressed in but only part way. The signal still goes through as I have audio output but would prefer a solid complete full install. Any advice? Thank You Kindly Cheerios
I believe this set of speaker cables is SKW BG-05. SKW has a more expensive set of speaker cable (SK-HF2017) with silver plated copper OCC and 3 layers of shielding. Wonder if you plan to review this as well.
@@anadialog you are most welcome. In fact, I have just realised SKW has another set of Copper OCC speaker cable which is gold in colour (SKW HF-2003) and it’s supposed to be better than the BG-05. I thought this might interest you better.
Have you tried C2G Velocity speaker cable? You will have to terminate them yourself but it is another low-cost alternative to the expensive designer brands. I've compared them to Discovery and MIT
There has been a big problem. I had to change the title because it turned out that they are not OCC copper but OFC. They still sound good but they lied. Here is the final video of my investigation: th-cam.com/video/XVLR9EuCkgo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=b5IzygWd_lxHMakT
No problem, I had already ordered them and some Nakamichi like connectors. I commented on the follow-up video yesterday. Thanks for the heads up though.
Got mine today. I am surprised what a difference it's making to my system. But then again, the cables I was using were some DIY cables with Blue Jean wire. Great way to get to experience quality cables without spending a fortune. 👍👍
These are speaker cables, I think you are referring to interconnects for the Zavfino. In latter terms, I don't like the connection of the Zavfino but they use better insulation so, they win!
Hi there, i ve bought them and they are indeed very nice with my Lintons wharfedale , more clarity and details for a copper cable . Very nice for a really really good price , i ve the cardas clear ones normally and they come close very close, do you have another suggestion for a bigger soundstage and imaging ? Thanks it's really nice to follow you ! Take care
Thanks for your comment! Well, I did make a video on the DIY ramm cables which are very good (for around 300€) th-cam.com/video/sdKdB-yaFJc/w-d-xo.html Recently I finally upgraded to my dream OCC copper cable (there is also OCC silver which is the TOTL but just too expensive) the Neotech NES 1001 it's mainly a bulk cable but you can also find it ready. Very very good stuff.
@@anadialog Thanks for the suggestions , not easy to find good cables , but you have absolutely some good advices knowledge as well as tips . For not too expensive as well , thanks for that too !!
Wow this was a great alternative to the Ramm Cables. Still need to know if I have separate binding posts for woofers and twetter on my speakers if running separate cables is really better. If that is the case the Rams will be almost cheaper because they give the ability to run one cable and separate the wires for the double binders as you show in the diagram on video 2 of DIY speaker cables..
I bought this cable and I've been using it for about 6 months, it sounded good at first, but then as it burned I realized that the vocal sounds were in the background and the soundstage was weak.
It says OCC and also single crystal copper, which is the same thing. Check here for example: www.amazon.com/SKW-Audiophile-Speaker-Convertible-Connector/dp/B07KF2DPZM
@@anadialog Hey have you tried their higher up line of cables? Have you tried their thicker 12 gauge offering (SKW HF2017)? It's more than 3 times more expensive, curious to see how it stacks up against more expensive cable brands. Thanks again.
I bought these cables and a pair of QED revelation cables for a little more. If they are as good as the QED, It’ll be be my goto especially with the adapter ends. It would be nice to have some flat ends on the adapters so you can tighten them down securely or remove them with a small wrench.
loving the info on your channel, big thumbs up!..was wondering if it would be worth trying the Ram Cables you mentioned? my system is naim unity atom/goldenear triton 2. any comments would be much appreciated, cheers.
The ramm as well as the SKW are excellent for the price point. They are both better than the Ausioquest because of the higher quality type of copper, OCC copper. If you want the best, as I always say, hunt for OCC copper (or silver) with teflon/ptfe insulation. I recently passed to a Neotech NES 3001 and the jump was quite impressive. There is also bulk cable from Neotech with those characteristics.
Help from anyone. I know this is an old video but I'm just getting into this stuff. I have my record player set up and the wire cables I use I have to twist the ends real tight, press the tab button down and shove them into the back of the speaker. I have vintage equipment. Can I use these cables in those speakers with the pin thingy attachment? I'm researching new cables because I'm picking up a radio signal when I play my vynl records.
Are people still using these cables? Just installed mine yesterday, treble seems brighter which I wasnt expecting as I have their RCA which is settled now. The RCA cable is warm with a rich tone, not sure on sound sig of the speaker wire just yet.
@@anadialog My friend what do you think about Diamond Wiring on speakers? Did you try that? Thanks. I have Kimber with Bi-Wire and I can't try this way. But with SKW have chance to try it. Sorry for bad English 🤕
These SKW cables are only 14 AWG ... do you think that they are better than Blue jeans 10 / 10 AWG ...for example ? Would the Kimber 8TC be better sounding than both of these? ...or not?
I haven't tried those...I tend to trust the materials used, so if they use OCC copper, they are good for me! Obviously with speakers cables the gauge is also important and lower is usually better.
Hi from Brazil my friend. I need to come here tell you that I'm became a fan of your channel and give my support for your great skill to talk easily about some complicates notes of this fantastic audio world, solids knowledge's and carism. About the SKW cables I put this in my desired list but can't find this do buy in any place. Regards, Luciano
The manual for my amp recommends multi stranded copper speaker cables. Can you recommend a good quality 14 gauge 10 foot long cables at an affordable price?
Do they make bi-wire versions or do you suggest to use the SKW Speaker Cables and just get SKW Jumpers to use with the cables (I see on Amazon that SKU does make jumpers but can't seem to find bi-wire versions of the cable) Also, does SKW have their own website?
Never use jumpers IMO. I had a triwire ATC pair of speakers and when I removed the jumpers with a true triwire speaker cable I hit the ceiling the change was so amazing! No they don't...make them with this cable I showed here: th-cam.com/video/sdKdB-yaFJc/w-d-xo.html
Hi. Why don't You use Cabled with wiered Shild? That Shild can You connect on a Ground an Preamp etc. It meakes great Sound difference. That all explane Supra with their PLY's Cables.
I do, but in general shielding increases capacitance and lowers dynamics. Not in all cases but it may happen. If you are sure not to have too much interference I prefer to go shieldless
@@anadialog okay. I will. Currently using some nice Audioquest for the bass and some home made 14 “gage” for treble. So I will play around. Also I am getting PS Audio m 700 in next few days. Excited! My source is Tidal from Apple TV 4K Audioquest Vodka HDMI in a Harman Kardon AVR 3700 pre-out to a PS Audio s300 stereo amp using not so great RCA cables. Speakers are JBL Studio 590. They say the M700 are far superior. We will see. So long and short is that your cable recommendation was very timely.
@@anadialog Hi. I received these speaker cables. They sure are built well. I have them hooked up to the woofer connectors. Audioquests are hooked up to the tweeter. There seems to be a fuller and more dynamic sound with a bit more clarity. So far so good.
I don't believe in miracles talking about cables...but at least we need something to connect the speakers...so...for the price I think they are a good choice. Thanks for the video.
This is a hard topic. They state: "single crystal copper conductors combined" I presume that it is multi stranded conductors and they do not specifying how many strands there is in each conductor. So without lying they only need that one strand in the multi stranded conductor are a single crystal copper conductor. One in each conductor so two strands/conductors in each cable.. But nobody knows! I were on the fence to buy a pair two years ago but when not knowing if all strands in the conductors is of a single crystal copper, specification. Then it is a no go for me. Instead I ended up with that I built my own speaker cables and then knowing what I had. When physical silver is measurable better conductor than copper/gold. Than I used a single dead soft fine silver (99.99% pure). (I am willing to pay when I KNOW what I get. But I do not want unknowns.)
Perfectly reasonable. I do my own as well, as claimed in the video. Silver is the best but needs maximum purity and high quality geometry and insulation, possibly teflon.
@@anadialog Hi regarding insulation then Teflon is not the best. The best dielectric is air next best is cotton. So I use "cotton tubing" type: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272768479463 So it is about getting the best material in every aspect. Happy holidays on you!
@@CasusBelli1000 "The industry loves.." You mean Science (is that a industry): That silver is a better conductor than gold/copper. And cutton is a better dielectric than Teflon. "Science is the pursuit and application of knowledge and understanding of the natural and social world following a systematic methodology based on evidence."
Optimize Rho silver is 0,16 Rho copper is 0.17 Rho gold is 0,32 For cables you need the best dielectric. For inductive purposes you need the worst dielectric.
Ciao Guido, I’ve watched this video again and again but what I don’t get is if you actually tried these and liked them better than your home-brewed ones or if you are simply pointing at their great quality “on paper”+the fancy packaging&features. How would you describe the improvement they make over your DIY ones or over standard zip-cords? No controversy here, just a legit question.
Hi Saverio, I usually declare if I did not tried something but just recommending it. As you have seen I show the cables and they where in my system for a few weeks before the others I made and I still have them when I need to test other amps. I can confim that I truly like them a lot. Considering the price I think the whole high-end industry should take notes!
Hello ANA[DIA]LOG, Thank you very much for all of your videos regarding your very interesting point of view on high quality sound reproduction. I bought this SKW cables on Amz to test them knowing that it will be easy to return them. They are absolutely fantastic. I'm not here to talk about me but I have had a dozen of different systems in my life and music and sound reproduction it is a passion for me. And this SKW cables are iust fantastic. But I have to admit I was a little sceptical at first not on that one can here cables differences, but that this cables will fit in my system. Here is my question. If I understand correctly you're felling that the Ramm Audio Amadeus (DIY in one of your other videos) are better. But there is no way to return them so no way to try them, and budget is double. Could you tell us in what area the Ramm are giving improvement over the SKW ? I have found the SKW extraordinary especialy in overall balance toward warmness and impact of lows. Maybe I have noticed a little lack in upper transparency and a little lack in micro dynamics, but this is just my first impressions since I have received them a couple of days ago.. How will summarize your impressions on the differences btw Ramm and SKW ? Thank you very much, and also for all of your very interesting videos that I recommend for everyone passionate on high quality sound reproduction.
Thanks for your nice words! The Ramm are better but not extremely better. The ramm after those 4 or 5 days without touching them just had o more open sound. Less conjested, with more clarity overall. Again, differences aren't macroscopic; they are evident but not miraculous. I can't detect isolated aspects or specific improvements of parts of the sound. That happens more with gear.
I did order the DIY Ramm Audio speaker cable kit that you even mention in this video last summer, same as you did with spades. Sound quality impact was so much more than I could ever imagine - well my old cables was 1€ per meter :-)) Now I've been looking at the SKW power cord for some weeks, 3m to my XTZ sub and 2m to my Hegel amp, main reason I need longer cords and the wish for something better than standard cables, the black and gold is a realy nice looking cable as well but I don't expect that much improvement. Have you done any test of power conditioners? I just added the unexpencive Powequest 3 to my system, only change I can hear is less distortion on high volume
Quality power conditioners are a great idea. If they are not designed properly they will suck the soul out of your sound. Actually I spoke of this in my very first (and awkward) video: th-cam.com/video/elU1cEMLjYE/w-d-xo.html T I am using a very good ( and darn expensive) solution created here in Italy as you will see but boy if they changed my system. There is a reason why I choose this topic for my first video. Glad to hear tye Ramm were good!
@@audiogear6978 Sorry for the late reply… I first purchased cable and one pair of spades from one company, and later another pair of spades from another company due to price, orders came from a French and an Italian company but don’t remember company names. Still using this cable with my Hegel and still appreciate the sound quality
by that logic, if I remove the speakers from the room , I won't hear how the room messes up / refines the sound and i won't hear the cables either if that doesn't validate D: All of the above- IDK why i should drink the kool-aid
I have the Outdoor Speaker Depot version, sold as Aurum Speaker Cables. They are sold cheaper than the SKW most of the time with free shipping in the US.
Hi. Ok, they claim that conductors in this cables is OCC copper. How about spades material? If is gold plated brass...that it will be a disappointment. Can you test this? I was thinking about having polished a very small surface on one of the spades terminals and on the metal thread surface, in order to reach to the core material. If is pure copper, it should be redish color... If the color is golden, than most likely is brass...
I don't know but I am pretty sure it is gold plated brass. Who claimed the opposite? Please bear in mind the extremely low cost of these. If you want better stuff, like OCC copper CONNECTORS or silver, at decent prices, the best is DIY. I did a few videos on how.
@@anadialog If they (by 'they', I'm referring to the manufacturer) didn't mention this (the core material that the spades or banana plugs terminations of the cable are made, which is also very important), I was just wondering... I didn't say that someone claim one way or another. That is the reason why I suggested a simple test. Thank you for replying, anyway.

@@anadialog Yes, you're right. That's the problem with speaker cable companies. I buy only those cables whose manufacturer provides specs. Some still do.

Yes, and they are great! I highly recommend the Oyaide solid core 102 cables. Unfortunately they are prohibited in a few countries like in Germany for example.

Thanks for your detailed feedback!
I’ve always been apprehensive about trying pricy speaker cables and always resisted doing so, but when I saw this video and heard the price I thought, if I’m ever going to try it cables this way he the way to go ,so I
Took the leap so to speak and have had them in my system for Almost a full week now and I have to say, I’m enjoying the hell out of them and don’t regret the purchase one bit! Thank you sir for making this video!
I wad a cable believer and think that the power cable is as important.
LOL have been using these for 2 months now. originally bought it for its looks (high end), though the specifics of the cables and its price made a huge part in chosing them. and yes they are absolutely fabolous
Nice!
Thanks for your feedback!
Thank you so much for this feedback!

Great! Thanks for sharing that!
found out about these a little late, but got a pair today.
Thanks for your feedback 😀
I purchased SVS ten foot biwire cables for $200, appears to be the same build and they sound great.
Great! Thank you for sharing your impressions. Give us more feedback further ahead if it's ok with you! :-)
@@anadialog No problem. Going to swap my speaker cables tonight. Will let it settle down for a week or two before updating my findings.

Thank you for your recommendation, at first cables are a little harsh can be due to my horn speakers. But man after a 3 weeks to a month MAGIC does happen. For the price you can't go wrong my system has all skw rca and speaker cables very happy 😀
Thanks for your feedback!
Bahaha 🙄😂🙄
I bought 4 of these cables. Brothers THESE Cables r like small garden snake thick. They r no joke. I mean thick to the point where they can't get tangled THEY CAN'T 🤣. Great
nice video. I have their RCA cable, very nice sound and quality.
Thanks, this is just what I was looking for!!!
Hi, guys! Merry Christmas and happy new year !
@David Mander Not funny ! No more COVID-19
What a contentious subject. I’ll say these cables look well constructed and have good connectors. Compared to other custom cables they are inexpensive. I’d also like to add that I’m watching from the US and just heard you originate in Italy. I think you’re English is outstanding.
My mother is from Milwaukee, so I am not 100% Italian.
Haha great! I just noticed I typed you’re instead of your. So your English is better than mine!
😆
too bad his knowledge isn't very outstanding lol
I think at that price, it’s worth an experiment, thank you great video.
They arrived here today, I’ll connect them up over the weekend. 👍🏻
Have you tried their interconnect cables, would be interested in your views on them ?
Total plonker: you say it all, plonker.
Not just radio noise affect sound, the capacitance affect the speed and eddy current also count.

Most Welcome 🤗
I am happy with my pair but am also curious whether you found something better but still carrying an affordable price tag?
Good question, what these lack is good insulation. The Ramm ones I cite have polyethylene, which is goof but not as good as teflon and the insulation is almost as important as the conductors and connectors. I am probably going for the Neotech Nei but they are much more expensive...if you find occ copper with teflon dielectric at a decent price please tell me and I will test them!
Very cool I have a vintage McIntosh and those cables look amazing

I bought purple Oyaide cables
And the SKW OCC speaker cable.

Nice! Oyaide has a much longer tradition and a whole array of high quality products.
The same goes for the SKW OCC (BGO4) analog interlinks (RCA): highly recommended. Better than Oyaide Neo d Class A !! And half the price.
I tried their HDMI also claimed to be occ silver plated copper, which is also great.
sorry angry girl China doesn't have OCC single Crystal there's only two companies in the world that have the licensing from Ohno, that's furukawa in Japan and Wan Lung in Taiwan and you can't buy OCC single Crystal for those cheap prices that's the first giveaway that it's a knockoff phony.
sorry angry girl China doesn't have OCC anything because the two manufacturers that produce OCC wire won't sell them any.
Thank you Michael for your feedback!
I just bought their RCA cables for my newly bought 1200gr. Hope they are good.
Let us know! I just tried the speaker cables.

Yes but don’t forget that conductivity is only of the parameters for a quality signal transmission
Thanks for the hot tip! Happy Holidays!
Thank YOU!
Unfortunately I haven't tried the interconnects. If you don't have a good connection maybe you should return them or sell them.
I believe this set of speaker cables is SKW BG-05. SKW has a more expensive set of speaker cable (SK-HF2017) with silver plated copper OCC and 3 layers of shielding. Wonder if you plan to review this as well.
Yes! I am not a big fan of mixed metals but you never know...the conductors seem very nice...thanks for informing us.

oh one other thing..would the Ram Cables be an upgrade from audioquest go 4 cables?...

The manual for my amp recommends multi stranded copper speaker cables. Can you recommend a good quality 14 gauge 10 foot long cables at an affordable price?
14 gauge seems a little thin IMO...try the ones in the video or any made out of OCC copper. That is what makes the difference...

Hi, another great video! Did someone try the SKW XLR Cables??
This is a hard topic.
They state: "single crystal copper conductors combined"
I presume that it is multi stranded conductors and they do not specifying how many strands there is in each conductor.
So I use "cotton tubing" type:
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272768479463
So it is about getting the best material in every aspect.

That silver is a better conductor than gold/copper.
And cutton is a better dielectric than Teflon.
"Science is the pursuit and application of knowledge and understanding of the natural and social world following a systematic methodology based on evidence."
Optimize
Rho silver is 0,16
Rho copper is 0.17
Rho gold is 0,32
For cables you need the best dielectric.
For inductive purposes you need the worst dielectric.
Hey ANA[DIA]LOG, I couldn't find the pair of 3m cables in any of the links you've provided. Amazon/US just provide a single 16.4ft/5m pack.
Probably sold out. Try also aliexpress, there are several stores there selling them: h5.it.aliexpress.com/item/32791421182.html
@@anadialog you expect to be taken seriously? Recommending products that you never evaluated??
@@jlo8775 What? Have you read my comment? Of course I tried them. I also showed them on video!
Hello ANA[DIA]LOG,
Thank you very much for all of your videos regarding your very interesting point of view on high quality sound reproduction.
@@anadialog Thank you very much for your response. I will share my feeling, I have ordered this morning the parts to build the Ramm.
@@vincentgilles5393 Where did you order the Ramm Cables DIY? Thanks in advance
@@audiogear6978 Hi, I got them at audiophonics. Where do you live ?
@@vincentgilles5393 Thanks Vincent, I am in the US, I got a reply from Ramm Audio. I am dealing with them now. Thanks again
I did order the DIY Ramm Audio speaker cable kit that you even mention in this video last summer, same as you did with spades. Sound quality impact was so much more than I could ever imagine - well my old cables was 1€ per meter :-))
Now I've been looking at the SKW power cord for some weeks, 3m to my XTZ sub and 2m to my Hegel amp, main reason I need longer cords and the wish for something better than standard cables, the black and gold is a realy nice looking cable as well but I don't expect that much improvement.
Have you done any test of power conditioners?
I just added the unexpencive Powequest 3 to my system, only change I can hear is less distortion on high volume
Quality power conditioners are a great idea. If they are not designed properly they will suck the soul out of your sound. Actually I spoke of this in my very first (and awkward) video: th-cam.com/video/elU1cEMLjYE/w-d-xo.html

I am using a very good ( and darn expensive) solution created here in Italy as you will see but boy if they changed my system. There is a reason why I choose this topic for my first video.
Glad to hear tye Ramm were good!
Hello Lars, where did you order the Ramm DIY cables? Thanks in advance
@@audiogear6978 Sorry for the late reply…
I first purchased cable and one pair of spades from one company, and later another pair of spades from another company due to price, orders came from a French and an Italian company but don’t remember company names. Still using this cable with my Hegel and still appreciate the sound quality
I have been trying to hear speaker cables for a long time but am only hearing my speakers
😄 well, take your cables out...wanna bet you can't hear your speakers anymore? ;-)
@@anadialog lol
by that logic,
if I remove the speakers from the room , I won't hear how the room messes up / refines the sound
and i won't hear the cables either
if that doesn't validate D: All of the above-
IDK why i should drink the kool-aid
😂 “Smartass…”
Bought them ,Outrageous value for money.
Superior to 5 times the price from audiophile brands!!
These are oem, they sell under several different brands. Very popular.
Non riesco bene a capire dal sito di Amazon Italia quale sia il modello che presenti nel tuo video. Sembrerebbe essercene tanti :)
Ho notato che Amazon ha cambiato il sito. Adesso ho corretto il link. Eccolo: amzn.to/2XktMUt
@@anadialog Grazie mille, gentilissimo.
Good morning from Singapore
Hi there!
Well, everything sounds very optimistic but how about some specs, like resistance, capacitance and inductance of these cables.
There aren't any, as for most cables.
In any case at these lenghts, those issues are very very low. Longer cables must be carefully analysed instead.
@@anadialog Yes, you're right. That's the problem with speaker cable companies. I buy only those cables whose manufacturer provides specs. Some still do.
Have you tried solid core speaker cables? I tried many different stranded copper cables and never noticed a difference until I tried solid core 6 9s copper cables.
Yes, and they are great! I highly recommend the Oyaide solid core 102 cables. Unfortunately they are prohibited in a few countries like in Germany for example.
@@anadialog can confirm oyaide 102 explorer v2 cables are nice. Use em with their silver and rhodium plated banana plugs on my accuphase e380
