I’m watching the old show and I have never skipped the intro music. The theme music is on point.
Glad to see Tempestra as an enemy in this DLC. She is such an underrated villain in the series.
She only had one main appearance and her second appearance made absolutely no sense.
@@Ability-King-KKIndeed atleast her appearance made slightly more sense in night of the rogues than Anthrax and Scumbug. Those 2 weren't even in any prior ep. I hope we get to fight them both as bosses in the upcoming Shredders revenge DLC.
She was in Shredders Revenge, her fight also had cameos from Tokka and Rahzar.
@@DarkCreed honestly that boss fight disappointed me. I wish you could actually fight her and those 2 mutants. They were all holograms with only a few attacks.
@@Ability-King-KK Just because her revival story was never told doesn't mean... okay so it does mean that her appearance makes no sense. But her banishment made no sense either; I mean, just throwing part of her arcade board at her?
I love how the DLC is stylized similar to that of Shredder’s Revenge. Looks real good.
It's based on the 1987 animated series, which is what Shredder's Revenge is based on! So cool.

It’s radical to hear all the lyrics again. Even if they’re different vocals it’s still my childhood song. Shredder’s Revenge cut out the cool little quotes. “That’s a *fact Jack!” (*edit)

Minecraft genuinely making the kinds of licensed games I wish there were more of just as a dlc for an already content rich release
I'll never be into Minecraft, but this is pretty cool for anyone who is. I thought this was DLC for Shredder's Revenge when I first clicked on it. Still waiting on the release date for that.

The new animations and boss battles seem awesome in minecraft love the flips they do and the krang and shredder boss battles look amazing definitely not the ender dragon battle for sure wich that makes me wonder what will the ender dragon be?

This is a cover of the original theme... though I can't imagine why. Maybe the original was in mono?
@@Wendy_O._Koopa The rights to the original song still belong to the original animation studio, and it's surprisingly expensive to license, so doing a slightly different sounding cover is a cost-cutting measure. Shredder's Revenge also uses a cover, and the konami Cowabunga Collection removed the digitized version of the original recording found in the arcade game.

Is it just me or does the song sound it's going at 75% speed? Like it sounds slowed down.

Apparently they could recreate the old 90s theme song, but just not use the original.
That's what happens when the rights holder of the original song is stingy with royalties.

I love how Seth Rogan puts out a god awful looking version of the turtles and many companies retaliate by pushing out the real turtles!
They even got Super Shredder from Shredder's Revenge!
