small information i would like to share: Virshaivism found by basavanna is entirely different from what it is now the people are following, now they are worshipping the idols, casteism is dominating in this community. Basavanna started this community just like Jainism and budhism to overcome the domination from higher casts but these people completely ruined the basavanna philosophy and called themselves as a followers of basavanna. If basavanna is alive he definitely going to regret bcz of these things
