It was fun hearing mango explain his thought process behind 13:14 on stream. He also got the craziest MANGLE of all time. Seriously how did he make it back to the ledge.
Eric Choi Royal Flush was the best Smash tournament I've ever seen, especially as a Mango fan, and maybe the best esports tournament I've ever seen in general.
That SFAT vs The Moon set shows why you shouldn't really care about the outcome of specific matches and instead just try to play your best and improve. If you get too caught up in the result you'll get super nervous and miss a bunch of easy shit only to sometimes have Melee spit in your face with a dumbass phantom or something
he meant killing him much later so the game ends before peach has time to move on her last stock, he could have killed her 3-4 sec later so she spawns on 1 sec left
12:02 this ice climber main is so skilled he had to stop his metronome for his wobble. If you dont want to work your ass off at least learn how to wobble
rodrigo lugo when players have an equal amount of stocks and equal percents, the player with port priority wins. the ics had port priority so all they had to do was kill him at the last second
pretty sure turnament rules say the game is tied (one stock 3 min remach on the same stage) and not decided by port priority. This would be better for ICs because peach wouldn't have the invincible respawn and stage positioning.
If that guy had wobbled forever wouldn't he have lost? He was smart to kill him ASAP so he could get some damage in, which he neglected to do, but its way smarter than just losing by wobbling til timeout.
Martha H In Melee, the outcome of simultaneous KOs during normal stock matches is not determined by port priority, regardless of their causes. However, when a match involving two players is tied and Sudden Death is initiated, if both players are KOd at the same time, the player with the lowest port, closest to P1, wins the match. In this case, P1 > P2 > P3 > P4. thank you have a good day
4:20 I freakin love Wizzy's pop off
i always struggle to find a steady volume level for these videos
I'll never not love Wizzrobe's pop off against Hungrybox
Same
0:32 OH SHIT
The moon got so fuckin robbed it hurts
not really, to be honest, that fsmash shouldn't have hit in the first place, it barely, BARELY hit Fox's tail
hextorm2 I feel like the moon still would've won even if it had missed entirely, it just seemed like the phantom really fucked up his headspace
N
Nelson Antonio phantom hits are just the game making fun of you for missing, it shouldn't mess with your mentality.
You just scrolled down to the comments to see someone talk about the "OH SHIT" at the beginning
Evan Rowley yes I did.
It's when you reach the 3rd that you realise how much more hype it gets whenever there is a huge crowd cheering.
It was fun hearing mango explain his thought process behind 13:14 on stream. He also got the craziest MANGLE of all time. Seriously how did he make it back to the ledge.
That last lucky stock vs syrox was nutty dude
wtf is your definition of hype some of these are heart breakers
Hype is how you feel when watching it, not how you feel after it's over.
MANGO PLOT ARMOR. God damn anime protagonist. Truly an amazing tournament. Top 5 all time tournies imo.
royal flush was honestly genesis level hype
Eric Choi Royal Flush was the best Smash tournament I've ever seen, especially as a Mango fan, and maybe the best esports tournament I've ever seen in general.
No wobble should be in this...
Peach player from Xanadu deserved to lose that game I am so upset
No Chudat vs Hbox? Kappa
the opposite of hype
that is like the opposite of a hype set ending
JohnnySuckss didn't you read the "Kappa"?
KappaPride
that phantom shine is the reason melee is melee
The ending of the last game of royal flush is still the biggest choke of Armada's career. That fly out as peach was some small region local stuff.
Armada always looks depressed when he looses
ingame time armada was put on his final stock both last game sets at 4:20 minutes left on the clock! it was a sign!
@4:47 jesus look how big Wizzy's feet are hahahahaha
9:55 Viceroy takes it all
Good to hear Prog's voice

"Go for the timeout, IMO" Um....I wonder if he realizes the Peach was a stock up? lmao
he meant killing him much later so the game ends before peach has time to move on her last stock, he could have killed her 3-4 sec later so she spawns on 1 sec left
Most of these are just “HBox might lose!”
Send this to EsPn
M2K did the DK taunt
11:40 are you fucking kidding me jfc
9:36 I don't get it, cool lime had to take that stock, and add some percentage on the next one to win the game
11:35 phantom shine?? that's a thing?
zevex747 shine are like any other attack, and pretty much all attacks can phantom
Mewtwo kings load tide look with no emotion ever...
Phantom shine into wobble was bullshit wow he deserved that win he hit the shine but Melee LIES
12:02 this ice climber main is so skilled he had to stop his metronome for his wobble. If you dont want to work your ass off at least learn how to wobble
who cares if you can remember a tempo. getting the grab is what makes an icies good
Jason Rhee he was just listening to music while he plays dumbass
Jason Rhee I don't think you understand how metronomes work.
9:30
What the heck was this commentator saying about timing him out with the wobble? He´s down a stock ffs...
He meant to kill him right at the last second to tie the game
rodrigo lugo

Felipe Trujillo
he wouldnt have tied, he had port priority.
Such Wowz That's not how it works. At all.
Martha H
Yes it is, either that or its a 1 stock redo 🤔

That's literally not the rule. The rule is a 2 minute one stock match to tie break.
Bananas one isn't hype whatsoever bias much?
SFAT vs The Moon should be in a cringe compilation
10:03 young zain :)
Why would you include the ice climbers one? That's not hype at all. Just shitty.
Why wasn't there more Ice Climber matches??
Segundo!!!
El thirdo

Wait, People still watch melee?
One Punch Saiyan a lotttttt of people
