I love this. Usually tutorials will say "Crosshair placement. Game sense" And in a way literally no tutorial will show u an example at all. It's weird. I love how you give scenarios within the maps itself! Great video
I've watched countless guides but THIS video has helped more than anything. Every player needs to watch this. I love Yay as a player and dude even more now
Thank you Yay! I honestly can't stress how crucial this is. A lot of Valorant pros usually put titles like, "How ..." but never actually explain in detail like you. Thank you!
You know, this is the perfect time to return to this series. I can’t imagine your stock being higher after Berlin and now that you’ve exploded onto the scene I’m sure you have a lot more that would be excited to follow your content. In many ways this is your moment. That’s awesome. I know for me, I watched this video a year ago before I knew much about you. I liked it, recognized the knowledge, but thanks to human nature, watching it again today it landed differently. Knowing that you aren’t just a tier 3 pro, but rather one of the best players in the world gives your words an extra authority. If you wanted to build a TH-cam channel, with this newfound authority, now is the time. I would mention getting a better microphone (not a headset) would be a large improvement sound quality wise. The gold standard is the SM7B. It requires more audio pieces to drive it though, so if you want help with understanding how to improve they portion of your setup I would be happy to help. I’ve been running a small podcast for over two years so I know a bit about it. But I’m sure there are others that can help you too. Also, lastly, it’s not up to me, but I know a lot of people go the “let’s just hire a YT editor and have them make stream highlights route” and I would be deeply saddened for that to be the sole content on this channel when you have the capacity to teach so much more. I mean, how many 12 year old teammates have you played with that just don’t know what they are doing? This isn’t CS it’s a young scene and the kids aren’t being taught. You can help teach this scene. And for me, that is the content I want to see and I want in Valorant. Don’t leave the teaching to those clickbait bullshit channels.
Hey, I'm yay's editor. Valorant Fundamentals is something Yay wants to do more of and we're working on bringing it back and making it better now that I can help him with the production side of things. Yay is pretty busy at the moment preparing for Champions and as such isn't able to really dedicate the time towards planning out and scripting an entire fundamentals video. However once Champions is over and Yay has a few months off before VCT 2022 we'll start working on the next Fundamentals Video. More Valorant Fundamentals content is one of the most highly requested things in the comments and we hear you.
Actual based video, this is the kind of videos I want to see of Valorant but the algorithm does it dirty, had to find this video through finding you on the leaderboards and subscribing. Real shame this isn't seen by more people.
This is so useful and important. I'm really really glad that we have a pro (and one of the best pros for that one) going in-depth with Valorant concepts and the fundamentals are a great starting point. I'm so tired of the other "guides" on TH-cam created by random ass people who are plat 3 at best and their content is basically just reiteration of other videos over and over and over. So I'm really very happy to see your video please make more content like this!
Glad you're doing this. It's really hard to get detailed perspectives from players that typically "frag out" in the traditional sense. Usually the people making these kinds of videos are IGLs / veteran players that typically tailor their playstyles in service to their teammates. Not that there is anything wrong with those players or what they say but getting to learn from someone who plays how I imagine most people want to play is extremely valueabe, at least to me. I don't know if you do lessons but I'd consider it if it was offered. Great video!
Yeah of course, I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the video and I'll definitely do more. That was kind of my goal with making a series like this, was to give a more detailed perspective.
