    If you travel here the one place you must go to is Mount Vernon. It's about 10-15 miles south of DC depending on where you are. It's a must if you like culture. George Washington's home is beautiful as it sits on the Potomac River.

    I have visited Washington DC multiple times and it’s a great city to visit, but the downside is the traffic.

      Yeah we tend to stick to seeing the sights near each other and walk between the attractions or use the public transport

    How is seeing DC if you are confined to a mobility scooter? Can you take the metro?

    • @CreativeTravelGuide
      @CreativeTravelGuide  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can get around DC on a scooter for sure, you will be able to use the metro with lifts at every station. They also have accessible buses too. In the downtown area, around the National Mall etc, sidewalks are wide so you should be fine getting around the main sights

      We found using websites like booking.com to be helpful but you can also find cheaper private rooms in the hostels in DC too

    Is it affordable to live? Have a VA Hospital?

    • @washredskin887
      @washredskin887 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's expensive. If you want cheaper housing you have to live way out in the berbs and even then it's still expensive. i live across the bridge in Arlington and you are going to pay. it is what it is.

    I am grateful for the american people, grateful that they have not made the mistake of selling out, grateful that fate seems to have spared america an unlucky tragedy in this era, and that the american philosophy still runs strong through its rivers, with purifying fresh all american water.
    Countless tests arose but true americans consistently were unfooled, american education and culture makes us adhere to the mystical as if it is everyday, we are not fooled by a binary divided system, our proverbs and culture are laden with question everything mottos and 'third option in a question only pointing to two choices' perspectives and the fruit of that is a dynamic hi minded and luscious people and land.
    Peacemakers come to oasis america to learn what was taught us all irrevocable in the 1960s about reconciling and integrating sides. There is treasure in the flowers DR martin luther king planted that the planet is still digesting and being enlightened by today. I am grateful that the freedoms of america are more vivid than ever and more easy for other nations to reflect now than ever, that america continues to be a leader of free and heavenly civilization is nothing small, with small ego may america continue and stay zen and well rooted
