Oh... Young Joo ya... She's not the prettiest out there, but she's got that charm, especially when she's singing, that makes her look even more beautiful. Her voice is soulful, but somehow still a bit raw.
Just pick righteous company for you and go all the way to become a Star! You have all the potential. And but yes, you definitely want to work on the "high note" as JYP pointed out.... just smooth out little bit, at least.
She's good.. great smokey voice.. gets your attention when she sings.. lots of passion in her singing.. that's what we want.. not just a good singer (everyone can sing).. and she don't need that "high note" as JYP makes her sing.. it is not herself, and she lost it because of that..and ultimately cost her a place in the later stages of the competition!
It seems like nowdays, don't get me wrong,but singing isn't really a rare talent anymore. I think anyone can sing if they practice, get themself a professional trainer, etc!
YG guy in middle basically said that she sings better than most of Korean pop singers. Hee yeul? Guy on right said she has something special about her voice that can't be made even with computer editing. However, she doesn't have that one part that impresses everyone. JYP on left said her singing makes his body feel uncomfortable in a good way. Yet, she loses her emotions when she reaches high notes. Its almost like mid and low have soul and emotions but high note is part when she just shows off her singing and loses all of her emotions.

how often do they have these competitions and when is the next one? are they or YG family always on look out for new talent and do they recruit often, do you know how did bigbang start, was it together or did they get put together and formed bigbang?
They are currently holding auditions right now in US for 4th competition that happen annually. I believe K pop star takes place around early winter. I'm not sure about YG policy, but I do know that Bigbang was created from group of trainee that endured years of practice and training. They were down to 6 guys and YG had audition that was televised to public and one guy didn't make it.
