nights like these really make me miss Skril. Oh how I yearn for his warm embrace, to be by his side once more. My longing for him is eating me up inside. I can't do this any longer but I know I must, a life without Skril is a life condemned to pain and suffering. I thought I accepted that he wouldn't return but I haven't, there's still a part of me that thinks he'll return but he's gone. He's gone forever. This fact tortures me everyday and every night, more than he could ever know. Oh what torture it is at night, lonely and bare in bed, looking up at the stars, hoping that Skril was looking at those same stars too. Perhaps we shall meet again, be it in this life or the next. The latter seems more likely but maybe it just wasn't meant to be.
