This is very slick! It sounds so nicely mashed together that you don't even notice they're two separate songs. This sounds like what would happen if both Linkin Park and Skillet did a concert together and merged their songs together for us. Very well done!

okay, i DID NOT expect to listen what i just listened. This is honestly a killer mix. The lyrics fit really well from both songs and make the meaning feel that much more poignant. Faint's riffs and overall feel are still retained, but also fit surprisingly well with Monster's rhytm during the chorus. Haven't listened to that many mixes of Linkin Skillet, but you sir have made something truly fascinating. #Chesterisproud.

When you say "that's not just my ego talking," it kind of requires you to back up that with some evidence besides your own opinion of other mashups. Not hearting your own comment would kind of help you not look so egotistical as well.

This has probably got to be one of the best mashups I've ever heard. In fact, it inspires me to attempt song mashups too, but the problem is that I have no knowledge or experience with music editing. So I have two basic questions: what platform do you use to do your music editing and how do you get the songs that you use on to that platform?
I use Audacity. And I only have to upload the audio files directly to the program. However, *_editing_* the files into a mashup is MUCH easier said than done. It requires you to listen for specific cues and beats in the music in order to make the mashup work. It's much easier to find a mashup tutorial online than have me explain everything here, but I wish you all the best!
