วัดร่องขุ่น White Temple (ตอน นรก-สวรรค์)

วัดร่องขุ่นเป็นที่รู้จักในหมู่ชาวต่างชาติว่าวัดร่องขุ่น..มีศิลปะที่แตกต่างจากวัดอื่นๆ ในประเทศไทย วัดนี้สร้างโดยศิลปิน อ.เฉลิมชัย โฆษิตพิพัฒน์ ผู้ซึ่งรู้จักประเทศไทยเป็นอย่างดี ท่านต้องการสร้างวัดที่สวยงามที่สุดในลูกศิษย์อีก 60 คนได้ทุ่มเทความพยายามอย่างเต็มที่
นับเป็นปีที่ 12 นับตั้งแต่เริ่มโครงการ และเป้าหมายของ ท่านอาจารย์เฉลิมชัยด้วยชีวิตและวิสัยของเขาถูกตั้งไว้ที่ระดับสูงสุด" ฉันต้องการเป็นคนดีและมีคุณค่าต่อประเทศของฉัน ฉันต้องการสร้างงานศิลปะในแบบของฉันเองและพัฒนาศิลปะพุทธศาสนาของไทย ให้เป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล ฉันต้องการให้คนจากทุกชาติมาชื่นชมผลงานของฉัน เช่น เมื่อพวกเขาต้องการเยี่ยมชมทัชมาฮาลหรืออังกอร์วัด ดังนั้น ฉันต้องอุทิศเวลาทั้งหมดของฉันเพื่อสิ่งนี้และให้ความรู้และส่งต่อ สู่คนรุ่นหลัง บางทีใน ช่วงเวลา อายุ 60 ถึง 90 ปี หลังจากการตายขโครงการจะแล้วเสร็จ "

ให้อำนาจผู้บริจาคมีอิทธิพลต่อผู้รับ เช่นเดียวกับศิลปินหลายคนที่ทำงานเป็นพนักงาน เลยต้องหาทุนสร้างวัดเอง”
อ.เฉลิมชัย เล่าถึงปัญหาศิลปะที่ต้องซ่อมแซมทุกปี
เปลี่ยนหรือเพิ่มเติม "เป้าหมายอันดับหนึ่งของฉันคือการทำให้งานของฉันสมบูรณ์แบบ นั่นคือเหตุผลที่การปรับปรุงจึงเกิดขึ้นทุกปี ผู้เยี่ยมชมทั่วไปเห็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงตลอดเวลาเพราะฉันไม่ได้กำหนดกรอบเวลาให้กับผลงานของฉัน
พุทธศิลป์แห่งชาติส่วนใหญ่ได้รับอิทธิพลจากงานศิลปะอื่นๆ เช่น ศรีลังกา เชียงแสน สุโขทัย อยุธยา และรัตนโกสินทร์ ศิลปะสมัยใหม่ไม่สามารถหลีกเลี่ยงที่จะรับอิทธิพลจากศิลปะโบราณได้ ฉันอยากหลุดพ้นจากอิทธิพล
ของศิลปะในสมัยใด นั่นคือเหตุผลที่ฉันต้องทุ่มเทให้กับโครงการนี้"
Wat at Rong khun is known among foreigners as the White Temple..lt is artistically different from other temples in Thailand. The temple was built by artist , Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat, who is well*know thoughout Thailand. He wanted to build the most beautiful temple in the world and to 60 followers devoted totally their effort and energy to make this stucture their life work , We are honored and pleased to interview Ajarn Chalermchai.
This is the 12th year since the project began and Chalermchai's goal with his life and woek is set at a highest level." l want to be good and valuable to my country. l want to create arts in my own style and to develop ThaiBuddhist arts to be accepted internationally. l want people of all nations to come and admire my works,like when they want to visit the taj Mahal or the Ankor Wat.Therefore, l need to devote all my time to this and also to educate and pass along my vision yo at least two consecutive classes of pupils.Maybe in 60 to 90 yeats after my death will the project be completed"
" l want to be the only artist in the world who can create anything with utmost freedom. l do not want to work under anybody' influence or thought processes. No one in the world can order me to do their forbidding, because l do not accept any monetary donations from sources including government officers politicians or millionaires. Money can
give the donors power to influence the takers, much like many artist who work as employees. l, then,need to findfundings to build the temple by myself."
Ajarn Chalermchai talked about the art woeks that each year needed to be repaired,
changed or added-on "My number one goal is to perfect my works. That is why renovations are going on yearly. Regular visitors see changes all the time because l do not set time frames to my works.
National Buddhist arts mostly are influenced by other works of art such as from India.Sri Lanka, Chiang Saen, Sukhothai, Ayutthaya and Ratanakosin. Modern arts cannot avoid to be influenced by the ancient arts. l want to break away from the influence
of arts of any periods. That is why l need to commit my lift to this project."
