These products 100% work as described. I'm at 2 years with my Gtechniq ceramic coating on my 2018 Shadow Black f150. I'm obsessed w/ water beading and my truck being hydrophobic as possible and can attest even doing MULTIPLE touchfree car washes per week, any time water starts sticking to my truck, I decon wash it and its like I just coated it last week. I literally have a new bottle of coating and can't justify using it yet!! This stuff is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Support is even better!
@@harleytle7395 After 2 years it was there but not beading water as aggressively. I ended up just having it done w/ CSU pro line stuff from Gtechniq, 9 year warranty. We'll see!! LOL
Do you need to dry the car between using the citrus APC and then the iron and fallout remover, or can you just thoroghly rinse it and use it on a wet car? Thanks.
I’ve have the GTechniq platinum plus that came with an after application kit in a red bag. My Porsche GTS 992 is has central lock wheels with anodised aluminium wheel hubs that are renowned for turning white with any kind of treatment. Is the wheel cleaner safe to use on such delicate hubs?
So I have ppf and have used Halo as my ceramic coating - which out of the three is the best for my application? G wash, Ceramic G wash or Citrus Snow foam for my maintenance washes?
You would approach PPF in exactly the same way. The choice between GWash and Ceramic GWash is really down to personal preference, both are great products, but it is just the case that one leaves behind protection and the other does not.
Great video. I just applied my CSL coating. Is there a recommended schedule for decon like approx every so many months? Also, is there a certain time frame to apply EXO4 after applying CSL? Thanks in advance
As a standard, we recommend carrying out a full decon wash every few months. If you are applying EXO over CSL we recommend applying EXO a minimum of 1 hour after application.
Excellent video. Having had my Ceramic Coating applied by a local Gtechniq certified centre I have always used Gtechniq products to maintain it. I also have Xpel PPF on the whole front quarter. Am I correct in understanding that products W7 (Tar & Glue Remover) and W8 (Bug Remover) should NOT be used on or near PPF? If so, would Citrus APC be a safe and effective alternative?
Love your products, just a question, if this is a decontamination wash, what is considered a maintenance wash which is is every week or two? Would it just be pre foam and a G wash?
Gtechniq would recommend GWash, Iron & Fallout Remover (for the wheels) and All Purpose Cleaner.. The washing intervals will be dependent on time of year for example winter (high frequency) vs summer (low frequency). There is no harm in washing your car regularly if you enjoy it, so long as you use good washing techniques and products. Hope that helps.
Hey team. Being based in Australia, we often deal with bug strikes. I have the Bug remover - just wondering at what point of this decontamination process would i use it?
Can you use iron and fallout remover on the car that's been ceramic coated? I've had my Gtechniq Platinum coating for over a year now and I'm wondering if iron decontamination would affect the coating?
I’ve always assumed APC would strip protection from the car. Does this mean that’s not the case or do you need to be care where you apply and how much?
It depends what you mean by protection. The Citrus All purpose Cleaner will not strip a ceramic coating however it might remove cheaper waxes and spray on silicones.
It can vary in my experience, I've had 3 of these mitts. The stitching on one of the cuffs did fail unfortunately (vertically) however it was demoted to just the lower sections of the vehicle so it was not a big deal. The other two like stated have lasted a few years now and are still holding up well, if you use them reasonably. This is for weekend warrior use mind so I can't comment on professional setting, however they are a consumable item at the end of the day and are a reasonable price, so replacement isn't a problem.
why do you recommend washing the paint first then moving onto the wheels? Doesn't this mean that whilst you're working on your wheels water is being allowed to sit and potentially dry on the paintwork?

We have tested the W6 Iron Fallout Remover specifically on centre locks and we did not experience any degradation of the finish and surface,

Hey team. Being based in Australia, we often deal with bug strikes. I have the Bug remover - just wondering at what point of this decontamination process would i use it?
Hey Tom, Ideally we would reccomend applying the Bug Remover first before the surface gets wet. Then follow the decon process as per the video.
@@GtechniqUK thanks team. I've just had my car coated with ultra, should I apply C2V3 after it's 2 week wash or should I give it some more time?
@@tomcolls9264 You can do. Each application will help enhance the dirt repellency and hydrophobics.
Can you use all these products on a car with ppf that has ceramic sealant on it already. Im referring to the citrix product
You'll be able to safely use the products, yes!
Do I need to agitate the iron and fallout remover if using it on my paint.
You should not need to, but you can. Just ensure that the wash mitt you are using is thoroughly cleaned after use.
Instead of C2 can we top with Exo after this process?
You can do, but you should make sure you Panel Wipe the surface before applying the EXO
Can you use iron and fallout remover on the car that's been ceramic coated? I've had my Gtechniq Platinum coating for over a year now and I'm wondering if iron decontamination would affect the coating?
Absolutely, yes. The Fallout Remover is pH neutral and does not degrade the coating in anyway.

@@GtechniqUK thanks yes was thinking of my 18 month old ceramic coat
How durable is the Gtechniq WM2 wash mitt ? On some mitts of this type the inner foam, inner mesh and inner stitching desintegrates rather quickly.
These will last years if looked after and stored correctly.
@@GtechniqUK thanks 👍

I have plastic trims at the bottom part of my car, will the W5 be safe to use on those ? with ie. 1to10 dilution ?
W5 is safe to use on such plastic trims. You can use it straight out of the bottle or dilute if you prefer!
W5 will be safe to use. You can either use it straight from the bottle or dilute it down - it is up to you.
Hey guys. How often should I be trying to remove any tar. Does tar remover effect my CSL coating if I do it every time?
Hi, as often as you need to. If applied as per the directions to a microfibre the W7 will not degrade the coating.
@@GtechniqUK Ok great. Thanks for the response 👍🏼

It is all down to personal preference, tools, manpower working environment. It really is down to personal preference.
Can i use standard gwash in a foam canon followed by hand wash with ceramic gwash?
You could approach it this if if you want to.
@GtechniqUK great, thankyou. Would the standard gwash strip anything off, such as the sealant I apply quarterly? Car is ceramic coated.
@@kefteves GWash will not strip the Ceramic Sealant.
@@GtechniqUK thank you!
Did you apply the foam while the car was dry or wet?
In this video, we applied the snow foam when the car was dry
If you car has a Gtechniq coating does it need all these products?
You will need these products to carry out a full decontamination wash. We recommend these products to deep clean the coating.
@@GtechniqUK and how often would you advise to do a decontamination wash? On every wash?
@@pjroberts2010 We recommend carrying out a full decontamination wash every few months.

I don't get why you need a ceramic sealant with a ceramic coating.
