I've been playing this deck for so long and you've blown my mind with negating your own effect to summon back a monster on your turn. This has totally changed my end board.
I've actually done it (usually negating Pin useless burn effect) since I started playing the deck and been surprised not to see it anywhere in deck profiles.
Actually so glad you made this video, was loving playing the control version of Bees with DPE and the banlist hits made me burn out for a while but when I'm back up and ready to play again I'm definitely trying this
I didn't thought about using Invoked Caliga. I've just been using Mirrorjade and Glory Dragon to search for Tri-Brigade Mercourier at the end phase this whole time.
This is kinda what I've been thinking for a day after the new Beetrooper monster reveal, until I'm planning to be more extreme by mixing them with both Branded and Tearlaments.
Thank you for this great deck. But, it's just not working on Duelist Nexus when I summon fusion parasite from the graveyard. After a quick google search, I learned the trigger effect of fusion parasite can't go off in the end phase. The only kinds of effects that can go off is "At the start of the End phase...," "During the end phase..." I'm still not entirely sure why. But this deck gave me great ideas as I am trying to build an insect deck! Thank you!

For the comment on 1:30 I had the same thought (that with Contact C Branded Despia would have a really bad time) however they can easily get rid of it by fusion summoning Sprind the Irondash whatever its called :l From my experience they have a thougher time with Retaliating C because all of their cards get banished and they have to get rid of it asap.
@@Rescuefat Fair enough, I'm just mentioning it because it's not fool proof. I've played against a LOT (I play in YGO Omega Silver/Gold tier) of despia/branded players and the vast majority of them don't have issues with contact c because they run at least 1 sprind. Aside from that, great content, keep up the great work!
I was nervously waiting for retaliating c to show up on this list Imo it's also a starter, have you looked at some of the Weevil retrains? Metamorphosis insect queen is really good, so is the cocoon and the hand trap. Multiplication of Ants sets up a search off either resonance or retaliating c, and gets you two tokens to use as link material. Jade insect whistle/transmodify does basically the same thing, but lvl 5 Earth insects are all trash. Ready Fusion and kuwagata Hercules are also cards than can put insects on the board as decent starters
If you have dragonbite and sting you can add pin and keep dragonbite on field through the combo. Thats if you have resonance insect though also in hand
Contact "C" can be bit bricky, you can replace it with ready fusion or another extender. Also, Scout buggy, scale bomber, and bullseye are hard OPT, you can just play 2 copies each and replace the rest with other extender such us primitive butterfly.

You should update this for Master Duel now that they released. It’d be nice to see a Beetrooper deck that isn’t DPE Adventure turbo.

The only thing is i dont see many lists running sprind so thats why i think contact is very good still

Well, wasn't very much convinced at first but the fact that it's not once per turn and the synergy with cicada king is very interesting
What is the plan against nib game 2-3 though ?

You are not. The links and scout buggy only lock as long as theyre on the field

Nice list. Any idea on how you keep Dragonbite on board for summon to lubellion? Discard them send 4 insect from gy or banished to summon the tower.
