Replacing the Clutch cork on a 1938 DKW SB200
The clutch was slipping on this DKW SB200 so the clutch was removed to inspect the condition of the cork. On removal the clutch plates were found to be in a poor condition so will need to be replaced. many of the corks had dropped out or warn to less than a millimetre protrusion each side.
This was completed on a 1938 SB 200 however the process will also be similar on SB 250, SB 350 and SB 500 as well as models of DKW NZ, RT and KS.

What thickness do you cut and then sand the cork?
