This Valhalla!!! I LOVE that funk back-flavor its picked up. Im pretty old and I listen to a LOT of music. for decades. And this is the first time I've heard southern rock, country and funk all married into one cohesive unit.
Honest Appraisal? Well, Daniel is a great player, that is a given. But the voice? Not cutting it! In fact that is the weak spot, and it will hold them back. Further there is too much back and forth between "organ" and "piano" sounds. It is like here we go this is our groove, then oops! we better switch it up, and this goes on round and round. I presume the Cosmic tag before Country means we mix a sometimes timid or carnival organ to country guitar licks, and hype up the bass and slam a rock beat with the drums in the mix. It is like one continuous never ending jam like the needle is stuck on the record player. It is a never ending onslaught of guitar licks. What is ends up sounding like is a never ending jam session. Finally Cosmic and Country go together like Oil and water. Get a vocalist to take you out of the jam session rut.

I am not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, but Daniels voice grates on me bigtime. The band is working so hard and I appreciate that, but come on wake up about the vocal aspect of this.
