Hi Fred, I know this is and old video but maybe I get a response, between the Hertz Mille Pro MPK 165p.3 and these xceslus xu 6.2C components, which would you choose and why? I have to decide between the two.
Hi Riaan, Usually I don’t recommend the mpk pro, but compared to this XU the mpk will be better, much smoother sound, the XU feels like eco effect, thanks for watching

@@riaannaude5837 we can help you get STEG worldwide, but, if you need local it’s better to add more and get the mlk1650.3, it’s more expensive sure, but worth for the long run.
Hi Fred
I have gone for a three way active setup with XU6.2i and midrange XXM325 .
My installer has set the below frequency
20-80 hz to kicker subwoofer
80-500 hz to Mid bass of XU6.2i
500-3000 hz to XXM325
3000 - 20k hz to tweeter of XU6.2i
Suggest should I increase the midrange frequency from 380-3000 and drop mid bass to 80-380 ?
Second thing is
I have set the tweeter frequency from 3k-20k , but I could see cross frequency is given as 4500 hz in spec , should I change any ?

@@frednsound Thanks Fred … I’m new to this car audio . I have built a 3 way active system in front and 2 way active in rear with sub in dicky on my own . Before to start the tunning in dsp
Now I have the doubt in setting gain in my amplifiers . I have played 1khz in head unit and checked its distortion level/ volume in SMD DD1 . Now the volume level is fixed
For setting amp gain , should I adjust the gain level until it distorts in amplifier or should I use the dsp also to set the required gain
@@prky009 hi, welcome. You should use all gains starting from your headunit.
@@frednsound should I set gain in amplifiers until there is a clipping or Distortion before I start dsp and set some gain in dsp too
Or should I set my gain in amp until I have sufficient loud i.e. 85 db level in RTA and use dsp after for fine adjusting so that I give less load to amp

Not sure if you answer questions here... I have a Nissan Skyline R33 GTST that Morel's seem to be popular going into. I may go that route but wondered if you had some options for 6.5 components/coaxial options that are 125 rms or higher. I want clean loud sound out of them. I JAM out and also have a digital dynamics sub (12) that will go into also. Would like to be around 200/350 a set. Ill need front and rear setup.
Hi, I would not compromise on the front stage, add a little more and get a proper set, front use the STEG ME650CII, rear Coax MS650 or morel tempo ultra 602 integra, thanks for watching
