Started watching this series without knowing how long the eps are , I’m 7 hours in only just realising now ,so fun to watch really loving this game

Whoa that was weird. So I was watching the beginning of this as background noise while I write and suddenly I hear "hello Mr. Jefferson" and I looked up briefly confused. I hit the point where I had started watching when it was live but man that was kind of weird.

Last comment for this episode, I was so happy to hear you talking about Dragon Quest Builders 2. It is the only game I have ever beat more than once and 100% completed it. It is definitely better than the first one and if you played them and streamed it, I would watch those streams so many times.

You can weigh the beehives right when you walk onto John's store on the right near the wall by the counter and get paid by weight. To my knowledge anything you can lift over your head can be weighed. Hope this helps. I'm only about 30 mins in so if this has already been addressed then cool, if not here ya go! 🤣
You can also get queen bees from the hive if you bust them to make bee houses. Apparently at bug catching 10. I’ve collected three queens so far and I’m at level 9. Hopefully the wiki is right.
I'm traveling the USA with just my dog. When I was in Florida, I swam in some pools by myself, but it did get kinda boring. It was relaxing to hang onto one of those pool noodles or even sit on one. Ended up talking to strangers sometimes and playing "throw the ball into the intertube" or other things with some kids. Kids can make a game out of anything :) Otherwise, swimming pool by yourself can feel a little weird and/or boring.

I think Dragon Quest Builders 2 would annoy a lot of PC players. I got it on Steam after watching some TH-cam videos and it looked really fun.
#1 - The main story is incredibly linear and there are huge parts that aren't about building at all, and sneaking or fighting, so it depends on your preference. The fighting actually works pretty well, just not my bag.
#2 - The overall idea works really neat. You build rooms (defined by the walls and door) and then depending on how you build them and what you put in them, they turn into specific kinds of rooms, which people can move into or work in! And they actually do the work for you and deposit things in boxes. Like people farm for you and then chefs cook! - its cool!
#3 - It was never fixed for PC so, basically the ultimate fun part is this special island where you can do anything you want and make it your own, but as soon as you really get into it, it starts to have all kinds of old console memory stopping blocks, like "No more rooms allowed", so just as you're making some really amazing things, you get shot down because of Wii memory or Switch-type stuff, and the limit feels REALLY low. It also still has like 3 saves spots or whatever idiocy left over from console, which they never bothered to change for PC.
I mean, it is fun though. :) And cute :)

Dragon quest is super popular in Japan but besides there it didn't really break out of its shell too much somewhere else :p just catching up on all the past streams so I'll be catching a live one ones I've finished all the vods!

I wish games like this had a demo version that you could play for like 2-3 hours to decide if you wanted it or not. Right now it's only available on PC and I don't know if my computer can handle it as my parts differ from their requested minimum requirements.
If you bought it and played it less than 2 hours on Steam you can refund it if you don’t like it
In other games I began terraforming stairs from the top down to know how any levels were needed.

The brown weed you want to get gives you spinex which you need to build stuff.
Dinkum is like animal crossing but with animals and humans and weapons and to keep live animals and to hunt them down
yeps 25k to get down in the deep mine, what suck about that is i went down and out the elevator door and "a huge thing" 1 shot me, so that was about the last time im going down there, not fun to pay 25k to be killed insta the moment you enter the mine

How do you get stone? I assume you’ll eventually run out of stone from the rocks you mine, but what if you can’t find anymore? Actually add in ore aswell. The paths seem like they’d use up alot of rocks which I assume would be most, if not all, the rock piles on the surface. Is there other way’s of obtaining them or do the rocks respawn somehow once they’re broken? I assume they are gone for good though so it seems weird to me.
The Mineshaft and The Quarries will make sure you don’t Run out of Any of them 🙂

This game seems more interesting to me than Animal Crossing, but I have a Switch and have never done any PC gaming so I’m kind of dead set on being able to play this game soon. Steam seems to be the place to be in terms of the games I want right now, so I might have to start looking into how to start.
This Game today just got Steam Deck Verified, if you like gaming on the go like a Nintendo Switch there’s always that option. This game will be ported over to consoles like the switch and the Xbox, PlayStation etc. However, that could take a Year or Two to do so. I’ve had many people also express that they do prefer this over Animal Crossing, exciting to see where it goes in the future!

Kinda late but regarding dragon quest builders if you want to enjoy the game do DQB2 first. If you love the game but want to challenge yourself then you play the first but it would definitely be a challenge.
