Although my insecurities are screaming, there are many signs that they are on very good terms. Just a while ago, Kamito jokingly said Hinano must really like him if she watches his streams so much. You likely wouldn't make such a joke about someone you have an awkward relationship with, especially our Otaku of Otakus Kamito. And whenever Kamito or Oreapo is mentioned by others in Hinano's presence, it's always a playful atmosphere and she almost always laughs about it, even though the teasing annoys her. You likely wouldn't laugh so wholeheartedly about someone who's gone sour on you, especially Hinano who's pretty much known to be one of the most sincere people in VSPO. Although she was VERY annoyed about the audience nagging about her and Kamito in both Kamito's birthday stream and this once-in-forever Apex duo stream, it's also ONLY towards the audience. It could be damage control, who knows? But paired with the above evidence, it's not likely that they are on bad terms. I mean, these two have pairing names in FF14, ffs. this was my first clip of oreapo, and at that time i don't watch much jp vtuber content. Now i mainly watch jp vtuber content and it was this clip made me fell into rabbit hole, first oreapo, vspo, vcr sever,... At first, i didn't really know the context, what they are, their past interactions but the awkward vibe gives off tfw your "was best friend" now become cold. Looked down the comment i saw ppl said they grow cold and i felt kinda sad for ruined friendship. With the sad feeling, i binge through all you oreapo content (1-163 at then) with the mixed of happy but mostly sadness because "they were so fun together but now they're not" and I don't see any recent oreapo collab for months at the time, i thought: "yeah they stop playing together for real". Now looking back, i was really weak willed back then, i don't go to school cuz covid, don't go out, rarely play games, every entertainment activities felt empty to me. That's maybe why i take thing too negatively and narrow-minded. Later on, i went back to university, made friends,.. literally touch grass and grow up. I know now at that time, what make me sad over is immature, I still watch kamito and hinano and gradually realize they're not really grow cold, they're become more casual with each other, and the way they talk is rougher? idk how to put it, but watch jp vtuber i get the gist of their culture. when somebody boke, the other will tsukkomi. And it will akward if the tsukkomi didn't give any reaction or do sth to follow with the joke. Even if it is your best friend, you will grow used to it and tiring to tsukkomi to the same pattern. So it best for them to just distance themselves and meet new ppl (yes i know also because the fan is troublesome too) , do new stuff to make it refreshing. And when they're refreshed, they could collab together so they won't grow tired of each other. I only realized this because even though I'm really closed with my friends, but if i interacted with them too much, i'd grow tired and want spend time for myself. Now Kamito and Hinano is the closed friend typed act casual to each other, like they are so chill and dont give a shit about other's face :)) This kind of friendship is usual b/w ppl, especially if you watch CR boys banter. So many sad blokes here lmao this is exactly why most pairings in the industry don't last long. Viewers put it on a pedestal and they lose their individuality. GunKan, Benizuwaigani, NoeFure, Crossick, and etc. All of these see each other less lately, (if not, never for a long time) because people keep talking about "why are you not playing with ****?" or "where's ****?" Maybe view them first individually as Kamito and Hinano instead of viewing them as OreApo. People are expecting way too much out of people who just want to play with each other and really, you're just making it harder for them.
A lot of you guys are projecting the lack of any sort of relationship in your life into vtuber pairings and it shows. Maybe find your own teetee and leave them alone lmao

Noel has always been an established vtuber in the industry, but Flare for a long time was remembered as "Noel's partner" because she wasn't popular enough from her own content. Now Flare has grown a lot more due to Hololive's popularity and nobody really cares about NoeFure in an annoying way to them. In this case, Kamito literally made all vspo popular. He singlehandedly carried every member in VSPO because if you were around before then, the only known member in VSPO was Uruha from LVG and even she had tiny viewer counts and subs. But your point kinda falls flat because western oreapo fans aren't reaching the ears of Kamito or Hinano anyway. It's only japanese viewers

They also are sponsored by Galleria even before OreApo so that should already, in itself, be a testament to their local fame
At this point on, I'm not gonna be surprised if they completely stop the OreApo thing. I mean, what their saying is true tho. No new games where couple or 2 people can play, they have different stream schedules, they only collab when it's a full party on competitive games like Valo & etc. It's kinda sad to think we are already this old and they no longer do collabs. But I'm glad it all happened tho, than not happening at all.
