    Fun fact from Himym:
Robin was born in Toronto, Canada . And Cobie Smulders is also from Canada, which, it helps the character of Robin identifies with her character in the show.

As a French Canadian it’s been an enjoyable time watching it !
Of course we all have a different point of view of what is Canada, especially if you’re from the French part of the country. With that being said, hockey is part of our culture no doubt about it, but curling is more the American answer... we don’t care, it’s more a western provinces thing. There’s a slight difference in some words prononciation, expressions an in the accent, I think we could say the same with Texas and other accents from different states.
It’s been a really funny and interesting lesson, thanks for the good work !
Passe une belle journée :) !

One difference between American and Canadian is the way certain words are said differently.. Example -- 'about', or 'house'.. In American the 'ou' sound is generally 'ow', in Canadian it is 'oo'.. but not always.
