Fun fact from Himym: Robin was born in Toronto, Canada . And Cobie Smulders is also from Canada, which, it helps the character of Robin identifies with her character in the show.
Love this channel. Very great method for learning! Since i have been using a lot of methods for learning by far this way is the best on the internet! I have a some kind of addict to this channel because other methods in my point of view are boring. Thanks ❤👍❤
Thank you so much for your fantastic lesson. In this lesson, l am learning about different accents. You are drilling for my vocabulary and pronunciation. It was hilarious and marvellous.
I have seen your almost all the video and this one is really hilarious. I am sure we can learn from this series as well like I learnt a lot from friends. Besides, from your video I learnt not only conversational English but also American culture along with entertainment. looking forward to have more lesson from this series.
Hi Ethan, this was an incredible episode I did to enjoy this episode. I learned what is the difference between American and Canadian culture and I learned a lot of vocabulary.
Each of your lesson is helping me understanding native speakers better and better along with learning new words and sayings. I can't stand long lasting videos except yours, they're funny, well done and most of all, extremely useful!! Last but not least, from the first video to this, you keep improving their quality. Way to go Ethan! 👍👍
Wow this lesson is really cool! First off, I didn’t know Robin is a Canadian 🙈Second, I studied with American and Canadian teacher, I haven’t noticed the difference 😅Thanks for making this hilarious lesson, I’ll pay more attention next time when I met my Canadian teacher.
I can say that Canadian being never cold is 100% true. I still wear my big jacket and boots when people are already in short and t-shirt. I had no idea for the name of the bar! Good catch
As a French Canadian it’s been an enjoyable time watching it ! Of course we all have a different point of view of what is Canada, especially if you’re from the French part of the country. With that being said, hockey is part of our culture no doubt about it, but curling is more the American answer... we don’t care, it’s more a western provinces thing. There’s a slight difference in some words prononciation, expressions an in the accent, I think we could say the same with Texas and other accents from different states. It’s been a really funny and interesting lesson, thanks for the good work ! Passe une belle journée :) !
i got a C1 in English...i could easily understand everything they said in the movie, but if you scrutinied it like it, ya so many things for me to learn :
He did't talk about the difference between the languages, he just montioned some things that exist in Canada and defined some terms in American English which are well-known by everyone.
One difference between American and Canadian is the way certain words are said differently.. Example -- 'about', or 'house'.. In American the 'ou' sound is generally 'ow', in Canadian it is 'oo'.. but not always.
Well, i would like apply to move to Canada. Ive been study a lot my english in orden to achive this goal. Wish me luck. Note: if you have any advise i really appreciate. Greetings from Venezuela

Why don't you make an appointment to go on live at TH-cam
We can share great time apart from your main magnificent content ♥️♥️
We want a tutorial on the scene of spiderman far from home in which peter is sharing his plan to ned. It's in starting part of the movie and possesses some hard vocabulary. May we expect that tutorial?
Are all the Canadian words & terms used by Robin in common usage in Canada?
Pretty much, yes. Most terms used are heard more in rural areas....they tend to get lost in bigger cities.
In my leisure time, I get to watch one of my favourite show, The Simpsons on TH-cam.
Hi guys who is in for making a chat group for practicing English in hello talk? Or any appropriate app?
Hi! I'd like to participate.
