We did two new builds Dave, and we didn’t backfill the sewer pipes until the building inspector passed them . He has to make sure they don’t leak.ie pick the pipe and fill with water for a while and make sure the level doesn’t drop.👍
- - Love the daily videos - - you Guys are great to watch - - better then TV - - fixing and solving people's problems in REAL LIFE . Keep up the great work.👍👍👍
11:04 Dave is that rain water drain or sewer coz the six inch should of carried on through for separate ,,you'll be back in a year or two to unblock it . Mark it well
Really enjoying the daily videos. Thank you D&J. It must be so much effort for you on top of a hard days graft! Oh and by the way Stevie, I am one of those old biddies and absolutely no offence taken👍
You can’t reduce the 6” pipe to 4” and then back to 6”. It needs a 6” y Them rubber fitting are for the end of the 6” line when you want to reduce to 4” plastic. Also the T will hold water as it’s not made to fit the way you have. The flow from both directions will keep fighting with each other and will not completely drain the pipes a small IC or a y with and 45 & 90 bend would have worked better.
Fencing at the senior citizens care home😉 looks a proper bang on job that stevie and scott ! Quality, cant catch a break with this weather at moment! Sunny and freezing or cloudy and hammering it down so fair play everyone! Fingers crossed for some dry weather 👊
American here that is so tired of my over sensitive and easily offended compatriots. You didn't say anything wrong Stevie, folks here say the same thing. Great job on the fencing, I'm sure the old biddys senior citizens, pensioners love it😉👍
Just wanna thank you guys I struggle bad with my mental health and was today had a panic attack out of no where but hand on heart watch8ng these videos has helped me get through it don't know how or why maybe it takes my mind off things which is hard to do these days just wanna thank you you help people in ways you don't realise
I remember when some of my work colleagues used to complain that the office was 🥶 cold, they really had no idea what working in the cold was. My dad and brothers were builders and worked outside. They always said dry warm or cold was better than wet. And wet freezing was a killer, I really feel for you guys.
These daily videos are awesome but the only issue is that we're really gonna miss them once Christmas is over. Please add a third video to the upload schedule. Don't worry about the content and if it's interesting enough. We'll watch it! Hats off to Stevie, the legend. Grafting all day then editing and uploading afterwards. Not forgetting Big D and all the D&J family. A very Happy Christmas to you all. 🍻❄🎊
Great video - its nice to see Finn and Dave - its like Finn is looking after the old timer, making sure he's well and has everything he needs... Great team!
Yes lads and ladies at d&j first big shout out to stevie for editing everyday big respect keep all your hard worker up and loving the digger work and POV maybe in the digger
Loving the Vlogmas vids lads, and i really appreciate the effort you are putting in to get these out each day. Chuck a tenner in the Christmas Night Out pot from me. Have a good one 👍
Oh my days 😂 Stevie’s job looks amazing nice to see the challenging jobs and how you work around them. Dave that garden is massive looking forward to seeing that one completed hopefully next year.
Those rubber fittings are an awesomely helpful invention when making repairs on old works. Making repairs on that stuff never happens when it's dry for me. Good vid. Thanks.
It looks so much better then when you started. Those folks are going to be so happy to sit out on their little patios and view the landscape…Excellent job Stevie and Scott. Dave the huge amount of work you’ve done to his huge garden is unbelievable. You could almost have a football game in out there…😂
What a transformation on the nursing home fence job, I am really looking forward to the finished job at Jamie's, that is one big property roll on tomorrow's episode ❤
Great vid👍 Stevie is like a gazelle jumping over the trellis 👉🕺🏻👈 Jordan! You know what develops sitting on frozen seats(you don’t what them😵💫) SHALOM 🩸
Tip Measure the longest level you have..... divide it by 40 and cut a block that size and you just have to tape it or cable tie it to one end of the level and it will give you the required 1:40 fall.
Loving the VlogMas videos👍🏼 (Thank you for acknowledging the "Old biddies" remark. "Old ladies' or 'Nana's' IS ok to say👍🏼😊). I love the Northern isms that both your dad and you say 😁. How is the little teacup-pup doing? (Sorry, I've forgotten it's name?).
I'm not a plumber but I don't like the T fitting next to the house for the rain gulleys, would it not have been better to put a Y piece near were you cut the pipe? but I'm liking what I have seen.
🎉🎉That is a massive garden and I'm looking forward to seeing what gets done to it over time. That fence and trellis looked really nice, top job all round 👍. Looking forward to seeing you all again tomorrow
First class job at the old bid…. I mean senior citizens home. Really looks smart. The drainage job looked bitterly cold. Can’t wait to see the driveway when it’s scheduled in. Dave Birmingham
It’s wonderful to see your working relationship as father and son. You are both amazing. You can see the love and respect that you both have with each other and your staff. Keep it up. Keep smiling. Share the love. Merry Christmas to you ALL.

Hi to all at d&j,first of all I said it in yesterday's comment but a massive thankyou to stevie for putting the time and effort into the editing etc of them but we do love it👏👏really cracking job so far on the nursing home job but can I ask at 29.30 what are you doing with the gap between the end decking and the gravel board?I've gotta say im totally gobsmacked that someone would comment and take offence with you saying old biddies ffs what has the world come to and anyone that actually watches you all the time will know you meant no harm or disrespect by it,dave abs step son getting stuck in the massive mansion job but all that mud would crack me up😂😂finn doing good on the dumper aswell 💪🙂👍

Awwww Dave ..I feel for you doing those drain connections. I did 3 years in France working for eurocamp putting the new moblie homes on campsites and “pulling “ off the old ones .. The amount of drainage I’ve done like that is bringing back those “ god this is shite” moments Fair play Dave ☺

Hello chaps, both jobs look like really hard work, well done. Ha ha I knew the "old biddies" comment would come back and bite you, we know you are not disrespectful Stevie. Best wishes Christine x
Dave these daily videos are brilliant you should trial it for a month see if it makes your subscriptions rocket I believe it would I know it'll be alot of hard work and time for editing that's where you need to employ someone to do this full time leaving you and stevie to crack on with your jobs but yeah I'd definitely carry on with the videos everyday.

You best rip that out and connect the 6inch to 6inch, you’ll have a big blockage and build up through time.
11:04 Dave is that rain water drain or sewer coz the six inch should of carried on through for separate ,,you'll be back in a year or two to unblock it . Mark it well

Great videos boys, but can't reduce 6inch to 4inch back to 6inch, like that, blockages will happen daily if that's foul waste.
It looks so much better then when you started. Those folks are going to be so happy to sit out on their little patios and view the landscape…Excellent job Stevie and Scott.
