- Forgot something crucial here: basic unmodded Slay The Spire will save your progress after every encounter. Archipelago Slay The Spire will only make save points after every act. Uh, oops! Looks like I'm gonna have to replay all of act 2 behind the scenes before I resume recording on this.

I appreciate the implications here that DC has everyone else locked up in his house and they all have to share one computer.
"DC is a fool!" AC said staring into the mirror at his greatest enemy
I don't like anything like him!
Not to worry Aeceased Crab, anyone who has watched your cousin, Deceased Crab, long enough knows he likes to occasionally end his videos on a cliffhanger as well.
But AC, of course the whole family wants a sky fragment! They're great for... uuuh.... fragmenting the sky?
Good thing you started this thing with 25 other crabs 🦀
Otherwise, you might have done something silly and committed yourself to starting 26 lps at the same time 😅
9. 9 crabs.
@@DeceasedCrab ah, of course. That is much more reasonable.
Oh man! You have to play The City again? Haha... good thing StS seeds are rather predetermined and predictable. Same choices = same outcomes. But haha _I hate The City_ I'm not jealous.
Ah, so with the save points, are you now "stuck" with this seed until you win or abandon it? If you were to die in Act 1 or otherwise completely start over, what happens to the checks? Do you get a new random selection of Relics and card draws at the start? New seed, new selection? You don't completely lose them, do you?
Gotta say I'm enjoying those synergies you've got going on. Choke Shivs are giggle-worthy.
Alright so if it detects a save point on Act 2 or Act 3 it will ask you if you want to load that or not.
You can always start over from the start of Act 1, but it will be the same seed even if you never saved.
If your current run doesn't have all the items you were sent, you can always retrieve them again from the Archipelago menu, but they'll be the same relics and same sets of cards choices. If you advance the RNG first then they'll just be the next ones in the seed, although sometimes it seems like it gets a little funny with cards: maybe because the rare card choice arrives in a different spot in the RNG. Also if you look at a boss relic reward and then cancel, you lose that reward until your next attempt. Any other reward can be opened and then left for later if you don't want it right away.
Huh, so even though the game displayed "Game Saved" at the top of the screen at times like at 19:00, the game wasn't actually saving your act 2 progress? Oof. Welp, I guess you'll just have to Shiv a whole bunch more baddies on your way back then.
