The market here in CA for an opticians’ desk would be very limited. I once had some very cool antique opticians’ tools, but even my optometrist wasn’t interested unless I gave them to him. The Windsor chair was hand chamfered on the seat bottom-that indicates that the dating might be right.
With so many fairs and flea markets, why waste your time traveling hundreds of miles to some old hoarder or country house, where they're overpriced &/or don't want to sell anything!? Try visiting a brocante in France and see the quality, authenticity, and rock bottom prices vs the overpriced, wonky tat found moldering in leaky sheds.
God, I love the rug lying under the settle. Wish I could buy it.
Loved the Windsor chair. I must save up some money and do a course on making one.

Lovely to see these again. Thanks.
These are old but it is always a pleasure to see Salvage Hunters. Any chance on a new series?
You gotta love this guy.
Drew your amazing'''' andTee you are brillient. Great business people
Love the Windsor....
As for pricing ... dealers just want to make their profit. Hoarders, on the other hand, are the most difficult to deal with.
Love this show
More episodes please.
