The thing that just blows my mind about these girls is how they can improvise in real time and not miss a beat. Like I've seen someone toss their phone on stage, and without even missing a step Mizyu picked it up, took a selfie with the phone and tossed it back to it's owner. Or at the show that I was at in Toronto, a fan brought a plastic Pineapple with LED lights on it, and Suzuka grabbed it, and continued the routine for Pineapple Kryptonite with the Pineapple, and then gave it back to its owner. It reminds me of the documentaries I've seen of the Legendary Micheal Jackson where he just had every beat of every song memorized and was such a perfectionist. These girls are close to that level in just how on point they are and how they can react in real time to changes and still keep the beat and unity in the choreography
That’s amazing! You naturally fall into a flow if you are that sharp with the beats 🎧
@@xiaouiris For sure! But as you said, these girls even think about their finger movements in their choreography, while singing, while reacting and interacting real time with a live audience. I've seen circus performers, pro-wrestlers, singers, dancers, all variety of entertainers that are highly choreographed sometimes get distracted and miss a mark or miss a beat. Some performers don't look at the crowd because they are so focused on their performance. Some Performers spend more time working the crowd then performing. I haven't seen many that can be as engaged with a crowd and still perfectly in sync with the beat and each other the way these girls can.
more gakko reactions.. love yours : )
Tell us more about rooftops!
Great reaction! Now i'm curious about the rooftops in choreography! 😄
For the next Atarashi Gakko song you need to react to Fantastico!! Good choreo there too
I'm afraid they might fall off!
One of the things I like about Que Sera Sera is, for their live performances, the choreo is almost entirely hands and arms. It's one of my favorites, but it is kinda hard to find a good quality video if it since most or all of them are live recordings from the audience. This one is pretty good because it's professionally recorded, although you can tell by their voices it's the end of their set and their really tired, so one of their voices is breaking. But they give a great performance nonetheless: th-cam.com/video/w19SR7ueJ9s/w-d-xo.html
What a good video, I wish you could react
Nice reaction. I noticed AG’s hand movements early on in my viewing of their videos. Could it be that their hand flows are more natural to them because they do the choreo themselves? Since no director is devising the dance and teaching it, the moves aren’t imposed on them. Just a thought.
There has been some level of training, maybe a boot camp prior
They've each been studying dance intensely since they were in grade school. In a way, with training like that, it's remarkable that they are so original, rather than just being very very good at what everyone does. I do wonder what kind of teachers and mentors inspired them to take the path to weirdness. I sense Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, who is quite surreal artistically, in her own way, had a hand in it.
Helloo, I recomend you to react their song Kimiwaina'17
How about dance performed on a helipad? I suggest NO TEARS LEFT TO CRY - Ariana Grande | Matt Steffanina & AC Bonifacio Dance
Speaking of rooftops, BGYO did a dance practice video on a rooftop for Feel Good Pilipinas. It's very apt as it's like a pep squad routine with stunts and all.
Thanks! I’ll add this!
